my daughter has been hangin with her boyfriend till 1 am in the morning.i dont know if she is pregnant or not.she has been sick everymoring.she is in pain.i dont want her to think i know wat should i do...

My husband is Jewish and we would like to move out of California. He's very concerned with rural areas that have many church's and no Temples or Synagogues. Realistically are there still hateful people that shun you from their community for being Jewish?? We are looking at an area outside, western of Cape Cape Girardeau MO. Honest answers only please.

ok been divorced for 5 yrs with a 7 yr old son.My exwife allways invites me to any party/fuction she is having for our son and invites me to go with her to any school functions.Now my ex and current wife hate each other(long story but ex is mostly to blame, jealous)Becuase of this my wife does not like me doing anything with my exwife.We(wife and i) have our oun parties for my son and i go with her to school fuctions(which pisses off my ex)We all get along for my sons sake but my wife feels we should do our oun thing with my son and she(ex) do her oun thing with him.But i have my son to think about how important is it that he sees me and his mom together at functions examples his b-day/graduations ect.or is it ok that his mom and i never do anything together for him?

A friend and I are thinking about going to the UK for a short break in late July. Since we only have a few days, we'd fly there from our respective home towns. It doesn't really matter what city we end up as we just want a bit of Britishness around us :o) Any ideas?

i've always been fascinated with movies, tv shows, and books where size-alteration and miniaturization was used. I personally have always thought it would be so cool to be shrunk down to size and see the world from that perspective. I'm wanting to know if anyone here thinks it would be fun to shrink either myself or anyone else for that matter and i'll choose the most creative answer and the best (how small, what you'd like to see me or other person do while small, how long we'd be small, and why you'd do it, etc, etc, etc.)

Everyone and their mothers has told me to never change transmission fluid on a vehicle with high mileage (150,000+). My father who is good friends with a guy at a Ford dealership even said the same thing. He said if it wasn't changed on a regular basis to just leave it be because the transmission is so used to the old fluid.

Again, he said to leave it be ONLY if it hasn't been changed on a regular basis. Is there any truth to this at all? Also, when are you supposed to change the transmission fluid? Every 30k or 40k miles?

Our cold water fish tank containing a goldfish and several fantails recently was infected with argulus lice. We treated the fish with salt baths and pottasium permanganate. We also put them in a fresh tank during treatment and treated their old tank. I think that the treatment has been sucsessful as it has been 2 weeks since we put then back in their old tank and there has been no flicking or rubbing. Two of the fish however have marks which were present when the infection was ongoing but have not cleared up particularly. The goldfish has a dark mark on one gill about 5 mm diameter which has got darker in the last week it also has a little dark streaking in the tail although a tear that developed during the infection has healed up very well. The fantail had a darker patch near it`s dorsal fin which now has a couple of small marks similar to those on the goldfish but smaller. All the marks look like scabs healing but I`m not sure. Could it be stress as the filter recovers?

I've seen questions asked here, highlighting the facts that Lincoln was not a xian, but a deist.

Also pointing out that he was the man behind the movement that initiated the steps to abolish slavery and culminate with the Emanciapation Proclamation -- taking slavery and "owning people" away from the disgusting southern conservative xians who used to use bible scripture to justify their ownership of slaves.

These facts seem to make xians on the board upset! Why is that? I've notice it many times but I don't understand it...

If you go to the Smithsonian, you'll see Civil War era and Reformation era posters that southern conservative xians used to post all over the south, full of bible scripture that they were using to justify owning slaves. It's no secret!

So, what's the deal? Why does the truth of our history make so many xians here angry??

Situation A) A man approaches me on the street and says that based on my appearance I'm obviously well to do and will I please give him all the money in my wallet? He knows I have more in the bank, and he's hungry, and his wife is sick. I tell him no, so he pulls a gun and takes it by force.

Situation B) The government tells me that I'm obviously well to do, and they want a percentage of my income, but they'll let me keep some of it in the bank for myself. They want to give it to people that are hungry, or sick. They obviously need it. I tell them no, and they threaten to come take it by force and throw me in prison.

Is there any difference between the two situations above? Either way my property is being forcibly taken because somebody else decides that they NEED it more than I do, and I can do nothing to stop them. Is that right, or just?
