Last year I used the job's High Speed LAN with a connected cable. This year I came back and it reads 100Kbs but I can't open the internet. I tried 'repair' and other things. It is my personal laptop(Dell) I just don't know what to do.

Man, when I found out he died I was hurt. It's not like he was the best singer in the world but he had some hits and some nicely written songs. I had his solo album I loved a lot of songs on it.

My husband has been at a job he loves for 2 yrs. It seems that every mistake he makes his boss says "you need to work on this or we cant have you around here" or something like that. It seems that with every mistake, they threaten to fire him if he makes another mistake. He has only made 2 mistakes (minor to major ones that the boss gets involved) in the whole 2 yrs. This time, the 2nd time, he was told that he told a customer the wrong thing about a computer. Then the boss says that he has noticed that he kinda speaks from the cuff sometimes and doesnt think out what he says sometimes and they if it continues he is fired.

That is crap, he had ADD and they all know it, he is going to the doc to get more meds for it. It just seems someone is out to get him or something, they are nitpicking all the time. He loves the job, and does well, I dont know why they are doing this to him. Is it legal? I think they are discriminating due to his ADD sometimes.

i recently bought 1 gig of ram and when i just installed it by itself, my monitor fails to turn on. I checked my monitor and it is not my monitor nor is it my video card. Yet when i switch back to my old ram, everything works. I dont get it.

Now that I have been given some great advice about Hawaii and have decided on Kauai where on the island is the nicest to be based? Somebody mentioned Poipu....is that lovely? What I'm looking for is just somewhere where there is a nice beach to lie on and snorkel from and then exploring can be done in a jeep or something.
Also, is it a lot cheaper to rent a condo through VRBO than go the hotel route?

That is, who would you like to see date another person in Hollywood and you think it would be interesting or cute, maybe even "odd"? You can mention a certain celebrity more than once. Here's my list:
Reese Witherspoon and Johnny Depp---though they seem so different, they would look so cute together!

Angelina Jolie and Jake Gyllenhaal---instead of Brad Pitt, he could be the "nice boy" to calm her down, and they both have dark hair and blue eyes and full lips.

Eva Longoria and Nick Lachey--I don't know why, I just think they would look good together.

Jamie Foxx and Marissa Tomei--I have a feeling they'd make a cute couple as well.
Also Marissa Tomei and Johnny Depp.

Robert Downey Jr. and Renee Zelwegger

Beyonce and Jude Law---they would make such an interestingly and oddly cute couple!

I have my computer hooked up in my living room. I have cable internet. Next week I'll have people staying with me, and they'll be here for two weeks. There's a cable hookup in my bedroom, if I move the computer out of my living room into my bedroom, will I still be able to go online? Is there a way to test this out before I move my desk? Is this something I can do myself or do I need a tech to come over and do it?

You see I got this coworker that has a raging hard on for all things German. He likes Rammstein ( a German industrial metal band) and shortly after he buys a book learning the German language. I asked him if he is German and he said no. Now how stupid is this. He even put a sticker of a German flag on his car. Why doesn't he put a sticker of an American flag or a country he actually originates from? What is wrong with people? I know he wants to form an identity like all people but what he is doing and so many other people are doing is being fake and dishonest with themselves as well as others. Another coworker I know has a hard on for everything Japanese. He is a dork and loves this anime stuff. He is obviously not Japanese just normal hamburger and milkshake American. I asked him why he liked that stuff and he said, "Japanese culture is awesome." Now I know people have interests in other cultures but it seems they are into these cultures because they don't know or like their own.
