Well, kittens do sleep a lot and when curled up, they are pretty warm. Is it eating/drinking? Any vomit/diarrhea/cough/sneeze? If you're really concerned, take her temp. Normal is 100-102.5 F. Yes the thermometer has to go in the butt, please put lubricant on it. If she is E/D, no V/D/C/S, and her temp is normal, I'd leave her be. If anything abnormal, have a vet check her out. Good luck

Like human babies a kitten needs plenty of sleep to grow. I have 4 kittens that are 8 weeks old and for the most part they sleep 85% of the time. They do have periods where they are up and playing with each other. As each week passes they seem to spend longer periods of time playing but they are still sleeping a lot. Don't worry, I am sure that your kitten is just a normal baby. Even when full grown cats spend a majority of their time sleeping.

The body temperature of a cat is naturally higher than a humans so that isn't a problem. As for the sleeping, there is a joke going around: What do cats do on their day off? They get out of bed! I don't know about the nocturnal thing. Might be true in the wild, but for a house cat, ours are more active during the day but they all sleep A LOT! Welcome to cat world! Frankly, at my age (61) I wish I could sleep as well as my cats!
