Man, when I found out he died I was hurt. It's not like he was the best singer in the world but he had some hits and some nicely written songs. I had his solo album I loved a lot of songs on it.

I was a fan of the group Hi-Five, I didn't know he had a solo album out, I thought it was coming up. But had I of known I more than likely would have bought it. I was hurt too..just like I was when I found out Dino from H-town died...
lol I was 5 when Hi Five came out in 1990..no wait I was 6..I remember everything about them..lol..I listened to them all the time..and still do..you should see my two year old dancing to their songs

When I heard he OD'd, that broke my heart too. But then again, the pressures of being a musician is so hard now, just as it was back in the day. People find so many ways to mask their pain, and they make it seem like everything is ok. From Kurt Cobain's suicide to Britney Spears shaving her head, who would be next to hit rock bottom? It's tragic! I loved Hi-Five and I will always still love them and Tony Thompson.

I was a little bit too young to remember Hi-Five, but I definitely remember "I Like The Way." That was a great song.

OMG!! How did he die?! This is so unexpected!! My sister and I used to listen to Hi-Five all the time back in the day. Unbeliveable! Tony will truly be missed. He will be okay, for he is with God.

yea it was so sad! im in waco and so i knew him and one of the others members of Hi_Five and it was a shocking and saddening day down here!
