I am not into the god and holy thing. but OK with the big bang..and we came from soup.. etc. but when i die have i got to have the church and holy stuff be part of my exit from life..?
i don't want to be burnt or buried.
i would like to be put in a stone cask and housed.
and let the elements fizz me out.

Newly wed couple. husband overseas waiting for immigration. Like normal couples they have arguements on the phone over issues. Husband starts nude sexual webcam chatting, wants to meet those for fun/sex. Has job stability problems. Tells in chats he sleeps around.
He tells wife what he said in chat is fake, false, fantasy. nothing more. He did in frustration.
Divorce is filed, but he is asking to rethink.

Was it not ok to argue like normal couples? Did the wife cause him to stray? Would u reconsider and save the marriage?

Is is POSSIBLE to be 100% sure?

For instance:
I'm thinking of a # between 1 and 10.
What is the probability my # is between 1 and 10?

Did you get 100%? Are you 100% sure?


If you said yes for both, you are wrong. The first time I said between 1 and 10. The second time I said between 1 and 10. Since I was thinking of the #1, it is not true. Allow me to explain.

I NEVER specified whether or not the set of #'s included 1 and 10. The first time I meant between and including 1 and 10. The second time, I meant between, but not including, neither 1, nor 10. If you answered 100% both times, you probably ASSUMED i meant the same thing both times. Furthermore, if you were 100% sure, you did not account for the chance that you misinterpreted the question. Since you are a human (I hope), you are fallible, and always have a chance of making a mistake. Since there is always a chance a mistake in the question was made, it is NOT POSSIBLE to be 100% sure, but it is possible to be 99.9999% sure.

Could the following be true:

1. Jesus was not, contrary to popular belief, a pale-skinned aryan with straight, golden hair and sapphire eyes. As a semitic peasant he would have been dark, slim and most likely unclean, or at the very least scruffy.

2. The bible lands during the early Iron Age were made up of many tribal families who, ethnography has proven, would have led hard lives and therefore also been heavy drinkers and drug users during rest periods (therefore explaining the visions oe Ezekiel and Revelation).

3. During his life Jesus was not viewed as a Messiah; he would have been a young Jewish troublemaker whom the Romans would have seen as little more than an annoyance.

4. If your friends wrote a book about you, you'd look pretty good too.

How far do you think this may be true HISTORICALLY, not THEOLOGICALLY? And yes, the frst point is made in jest.

I am not saying I agree with these points but would just like to hear your take.

In my dream, my husband is helping me to move out, with my child. Mother in law is trying to keep us together but he tells her its okay, its best this way. I am quite happily moving with my child and he seems unaware of anything negative going on. Wishful thinking?

I think that it is time that the police seriously investigated the possibility that Mr McCann set this whole thing up as a money making exploit, with or without the knowledge of his wife. Before anyone starts shouting abuse at me,think about it. It is possible. It would explain why he is seemingly coping very well with the whole thing. I'm watching the Today show this morning showing footage of Fidel Castro doing better and then showing Condoleeza stating that the Cuban people have the right to freedom and to a country of democracy (paraphrased). While I may personally agree with her statements, what role should the US play in this. It seems that the US always wants to ensure other countries govern as the US deems fit.

In all honesty, while the US claims to be a democracy, it really isn't, but yet and still we want to press our government on every country and state what is "best for the people". While I know there is a certain necessity to do this to ensure the safety of our country, we go overboard in my opinion.

Like my mama used to say, don't try to clean anyone else's kitchen until you know yours is clean.
