Mohammed Kaif has all qualities similar to Rahul Dravid or Azar,once he makes a comeback and cements his place In the side, he is a certain captain material

Mohammed Kaif and no other.
1. Excellent temperment. No other player can perform the way he does after being shunted up and down the order.
2. His performance need I say more. Captianed India to their only under 19 winning world cup. Was a vice captain of the under 15 winning world cup. Was preferred by Coach Greg Chappel over Ganguly against Zimbabwe the reason why the whole dispute over Chappel ganguly started
3. Captained UP to Ranji trophy beating the likes of Punjab, Mumbai and Bengal.
Up was one match away from disqualification. He scored 3 centuries in a row in Ranji trophy for UP to take the crown.
Captained UP to Ranji ODI crown also.
4. Was in top form till Ganguly chappel row started, captained India seniors in Challenger trophy since then has been never a regular in the team
5. He was man of the series against Bangladesh last tour was not picked for the series
6. Was one of the top scorers in West Indies tour scored even a century in tests against them.
7 Inspite of that he was not picked for the world cup of 2007. The results was there for all to see, India crashed out loosing to Srilanka and Bangladesh even.
8. Will save a lot of runs on the field always a plus.
9. All he needs is confidence and grooming.

Yuvraj Singh is capable
Zaheer Khan is also a good option, he is now one of the leading bowlers in the indian cricket team.
Dinesh Kartik doesnt have too much of experience to be a captain
Mahinder Singh Dhoni can also fit the place

Friends... they should select a new team for India...rather than these junk players...we should plan now itself for the next world cup...present team is just useless and they play only on blue moon days. So, no point in selecting or brushing the people in the same pool. We have lot of new players with courage, energy and power...just only to give them a change from selection committeee...moreover, we should clean all the selection committe members also, including A to Z. i.e. like a new car for new trip....

According to me, no bowler is capable of becoming the captain. In the batsman group, M S Dhoni can become a good captain. Yuvraj, as others are saying, is also capable of captaincy.

Yuvraj may become captain but it should be DINESH KARTHIK.
Yuvraj shows some character of Sachin and Sehwag(Playing only when they need and not for team).

My first choice would be Mohd kaif if he comes back in the indian team.He has a good temperament and has got international exposure also.He is the best man to lead the indian team.After him,I would select Dinesh karthick.He possess all qualities to become a captain.
