Aren't we all here to learn off eachother, regardless of faith/ religion?

I keep coming accross questions that are aimed at a particular audience, ie 'Christians, what do you think...?' 'Muslims, do you believe...?'

Surely the aim of this is to mix with eachother, exchange views & learn something as we go along. I dont just want to hear from people who hold the same beliefs as me. I want to hear from people of all beliefs, regardless. This is where I can learn & grow.

What do you think? And what do you think about questions directed at a particular group?

Why can't we read the "holy books" the way we read Robinson Crusoe and the like, withou having to bother about

believing them? Can't we just be entertained the way one reads literature for entertainment. Afterall, what is the value of our belief or lack of it in those contrived stories?

Proper maintenance and use of iron skillet?

Hi, I have an iron skillet that I bought a while ago, and it's a bit rusty. I've no idea the proper way to care for it or use it. Probably more than anything I'll be using it for eggs. I got it because I don't like cooking with Teflon and since I don't eat much meat I need more iron in my diet. So any tips on caring for the skillet would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Question bout the pain in my knee?

I work on ambulances... we had a 600Ib patient today and after we were done with the call it was time to go home.

Well when i got in my truck and pressed my clutch in i have this slight pain with the feeling its strained( very weird sensation) in the back of my knee, this feeling cont. everytime i do this action or anything like it, but doesnt seem to bug me when I walk or stand.

Im worried i hurt something and when it comes to you knees and back you always wanna be carefully does anyone have any information they can share bout what they think is going on?

I need help with math homework please. I'm not good with radical equations. Explain me how you get the answer.

1.) The square root of 5x= 20
2.) The sqrt of (x) -7=-3
3.) 6- sqrt of (2x)= -2
4.) The sqrt of (2x-1)=5
5.) 10= sqrt of (6x+2) +5
6.) The sqrt of (3x+13)= sqrt of (20-4x)

Please explain me how you get the answer so I understand.
