Yes, I've been a smoker for 4 years now, and have varied from smoking a pack during a couple hours to currently smoking 1 or 2 a day if at all. I enjoy the occasional cigarette as it is a tremendous stress reliever, however, I would not want to chain smoke like many of my friends do. Eventually I would like to stop for good, but as long as I can maintain control over addiction, I will continue smoking.

Yes, I quit for 16 days about 2 mos ago but stress got the better of me. If I could be hospitalized for about a month that would be great. lol A no stress way to quit. I can't afford the drug store stuff to help, I'd have to do it on my own with no support, and that is very hard. I heard on some news thing that quitting smoking is harder than quitting heroin. I've never been on heroin, so I guess I can't validate that.

yes I smoke and I have tough about quitting. But then I go to a bar and I am told I can't smoke because it is unhealthy. Last time I check so is drinking. But no one is tring to stop the OVER USE of achole.

I have no problem with most anti-smoking laws, but bars, this goes a little too far. Let the bar owner decide, then when Hippocrates who say they are worried about there health want to go out and get drunk they can go to a non-smoking bar to poison them selves.

I don't smoke for several reasons. I am too young. It would be a hassle to keep having to buy cigarettes, you know having to try and get out of showing an ID I don't have. Trying to hide the smell. Just the general idea of smoking doesn't appeal to me.

I quit 2 months ago, and it is really hard, I tried cutting down, that doesn't work, the only way that worked for me was cold turkey and just not giving in to the urges, it's damn near impossible for some people, and a hell of a lot harder than non-smokers think to give it up

I don't smoke, I've never smoked, and I'm never going to smoke because smoking is bad for my health.

Smoking is also for losers. Why why why would I ever start? I don't favor the idea of suicide, thank you.

Nope I dont smoke because of all the unhealthy effects it has on your body and how many years of your life it takes off of your life....I want to live to be old enough to experience life, I'm also an athlete so I dont want to do anything that could hurt my body and prevent me from performing at my peak

I tried to experiment with smoking when I was 9. It continued until I was 18, pretty bad. I decided that I didn't want that nasty habit, so I quit cold turkey. It's so nasty!

No, I have this goal to say to my kids when they ask about it that I have never smoked a cigarette. I stand true to my promise and my dad sure as heck wouldn't let me forget about it if I wanted to smoke (his mother died of lung cancer because of second-hand smoking at work)...I still don't have kids but I plan on keeping my promise for my kid's, mine, and my dad's sake.
