Why do most Americans seem to identify as a Democrat or Republican first before just being American ? Has pride diminished over there ? Is Political preference more important than National Identity ? So I assume Republicans are Liberal ? or Labour and Democrats ? visa versa, I could find out but really couldn't be bothered ! In Australia the ALP or Labour Party is more working class and the Government or Liberal-National Coalition is more upper and middle class. So whats the distinction there ?

The first words of Allah that are not corrupt according to Muslims is the Qu'ran. 600 AD. Man existed 4000 years without a dependable word from God. All of God's words were corrupted by man. We have no word from God we can believe until the Qu'ran. God chose to allow his people to be deceived and his word to be made a lie for four thousand years....Now we believe the Qu'ran which also is written words because within this written word you say is a promise to keep his word...If his word is corrruptible then wouldn't a promise within the word be worthless? Would you accept a check as payment for a bad check? If Allah could not keep his word for 4000 years is he worthy of our trust?

married to a reformed jewish man, this will be my second marriage and his third. He is much older than I am and we do not intend to have any children. He has 3 grown children from his first marriage, first wife converted to Judaism b/c back then he did not believe in inter faith marriags, they had five children and raised them all Jewish, four are married only three to Jewish spouses. His second mariage he did not plan to have kids so conversion was not as big of an issue, but she did become pregnant and their daughter is not being raised Jewish which upsets him. We DEFINATELY WILL NOT HAVE KIDS, BOTH UNABLE TO. He has not aske dme to convert but I have chosen to do so on my own. I was raised in an inter faith family, my father is jewish, orthodox, my mom christian but not religious at all, we have nine children none of whom are jewish. As a child I attended hebrew schoool and Sunday School but it never went any further than that. I have always felt strongly about the Jewish faith no

I have a Panasonic TV not sure what the model is and where it's located I cannot pull it out and check, but it's an old regular TV not a flat screen or anything.

But this TV always gave a great picture, and sound

One morning we turned it on, and there is absolutely no picture

There IS still great sound, but the screen is compeletely blank don't even light up

I'd like to repair this TV, because it is still in great physical shape.

If there is any steps you have that may help me identify the problem would be great, as soon as someone helps me pull the TV off the Self i'll post the model number!

I live in a very small apartment and when you sit on the couch the air like almost blasts in your face. I was hoping I could put something over it that would direct the air down rather than straight out also hoping it would hide the ugliness of the thing.

What on earth gives them this preposterous sense of entitlement?

I'm referring migrating to Western Europe, Australia and North America.

In England we put up with civil wars, revolutions, poverty, famine, flood and disease- and we didn't sod off to their countries on mass- why can't they put up as we and others did?

Why do so many simply feel that they can simply up and go to our lands to make a better living- with no thought to the natives (longer duration inhabitants) of that land?

This week two young lads were killed and another two lads seriously injured when their car hit a tree on a stretch of road near to where I live. This is not the first time, and I am sure it won't be the last. And yet, coming home last night, I saw more than one car full of young people been driven dangerously and way over the speed limit.

I personally think that new and young drivers should not be allowed to carry passengers until they reach a certain age.

I ask on here before if a loan was possible for me and i emailed a guy from spain and everthing when smooth until the last step right before i get the money. He wanted a chambers fee $150 and a fraud fee for $300 total of $450 and wanted me to send a western union money order to Africa. what do you guys think.

Anyone know why this occurred? I've copied a letter below from a friend and what happend to him:
At home on my computer, I have two firewalls, antivrus, antiphishing, spysweeper and all that I could get to feel secure about my system. Sometimes it was frustrating because I would have to figure out the latest versions just to get on the internet or to recieve / send E-mail. I came home from work, during the day, and I passed by my computer, which was turned off the night before, and noticed that while I was resting it had turned itself on. I had configured BIOS so that it could not be "awakened" for any reason. And since the power had been turned off at the power switch, I was baffled. The first thing that I did was to unplug it from my internet service. Then I rebooted it and it required a password, which I had not implimented nor did I know what it was.
Concerned about what might have been retrieved from my computer, I found out through my bank, that
