My father asked me yesterday if I would allow him to adopt my son. He said it's for his financial well-being. He would receive a SSI check for almost one thousand dollars and a check from the military plus his college tuition would be paid, and he would receive a check for going to college. My thing is .... what if I make a decision, and they (my parents) go against it, and tell my son something entirely different, KNOWING that I told him not to do something? I know that I would have given up my parental rights, but this is only for his financial well-being. (I am pregnant w/ my 2nd child, and my son is a teenager) What would you do in this situation? Serious answers only. (I am thinking hard and strong about this, because I don't want to make the wrong decision.)

My daughter has been begging since 7 o clock this morning to go to the zoo. I told her no I had work to do.

She has since offered me the following compromises:

1. If I take her to the zoo, she'll get her sister to do my work.

2. She'll pay for her own zoo ticket with her piggy bank. (probably 3 dollars...)

3. If I take her to the zoo, she'll go to the doctor and get shots.

4. If I take her to a farm to ride horses, she'll forget the zoo.

I am 21 yrs old and i have really bad wrists; they crack and pop all the time and the longer I use them the more sore they get. I work at an office job right now and everyday I go home and I can tell I worked that day. Ever since I was 9, my fingers and wrists, knees and ankles, neck and sholders all "crack" and pop. It is starting to worry me more and more? Could this get worse? Is there anything I could do/take that would help w/this?
