OMG! Ear wax is poisonous! i had no idea

I don't think cerumen/ear wax is poisonous... It is but modified sweat in the ears produced by the ceruminous glands to trap foreign substances, and prevent them from entering the body through the ear. I don't think it is toxic in any way.

Ear Wax ISN'T poisonous! It's function is to lubricate, clean, and prevent foreign substances to go in to your ear canal.

I didn't even know it was toxic. I don't think it is since it sits in our ears and all and we don't die. And I can't imagine someone ingesting enough to be lethal even if it were toxic.
