Possibly. The thing about it is that the guitar is a very different instrument to the piano - the voicings are different for a start. If you wanted to play it EXACTLY the same then you'd have to have very big hands in order to play the widely spaced chords possible on a guitar.

However, if the chords are written on it, or it's more melodic then the pianist could voice the chords in a way that's much easier to play on the piano.

I sort of remember this vaguely: If the sheet music was written specifcally for a guitar, transcibing it to piano may involve moving up an octive.
