My cat is elderly, just to get that out of the way. She's not quite 10 yet, but she's up there in age. Despite being a healthy and active cat, she's always been slightly underweight according to veterinarian standards. Within the last month, she's lost that pep in her step and has experienced significant weightloss. I thought, for a while, that maybe it just hurt to chew her food, so I started giving her moist food. Of course, she ate that right up. However, I found her one morning in my bathroom, lying on her side, breathing very heavily, and basically unresponsive. I took her to the vet, and she was diagnosed with feline diabetes. I have to administer daily insulin shots along with feeding her special food... which is, of course, eating my bank account. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any budget-friendly pet foods or any little at-home remedies that could help? Suggestions? I know it's a long shot, but it never hurt to ask...

he's about 5 years old, i'm not sure=] i never wanted to get him neutered, because i never thought it was fair to him. Its been a while since anything has been posted, so i might as well post one of my problems. I was having a no spark problem with my 64 6V beetle. I changed the condensor and points and got it going. I let it run and everything for about 15- 20 minutes and drove it out of the back yard. Down the back alley and signalled to turn and lost all ignition. There is no spark again and the condensor is dead im suspecting. Any ideas on what would short out the condensor??? Could it be the coil? I just put a new one from NAPA. The thing i dont get is why did it happen when i signalled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

...it's good for them and inspiring to society as a whole (I swear I am not making these positions up, check my previous questions before you say "No one would say that!"), I do have a few more questions:

1. Do you take your children to the doctor at all or do you only consider uncurable illnesses to be character-building and inspiring?

I know the whole story and how an angel intervened and all. I just feel like the whole test is a horrible thing to put someone through. Why did Abraham agree to murder, which is also against the commandment to not kill? Also, shouldn't a parent face the wrath of God and possibly going to hell rather than murder an innocent child?
