Strawberry Lemonade!
1 pint strawberries, hulled
1 3/4 cups unbleached sugar
1 1/2 cups water
3 1/2 cups lemon juice
ice
In a blender or food processor, place the strawberries, and puree until smooth. Pass the pureed strawberries through a sieve to remove the seeds and set aside. In a large pitcher, place the sugar and water, and stir well to dissolve the sugar. Add the lemon juice and strawberry puree to the mixture and stir well to combine. Chill. Serve in ice-filled glasses.

Here are some choices that do not require lots of preparation:
1) Set aside the large and firm strawbs. Remove the stalk with a knife. Wash, drain and dry. Freeze in baggies for later use: making daiquiries, margaritas, smoothies or add to other recipies which do not require fresh strawbs.
2) Make strawberry preserves from the small and ripe ones. Simply cook the whole berries in white sugar and a bit of water. It's up to you whether to stop cooking them before they fall apart or until they are the consistency of preserves. These can be refrigerated in glass jars for a long time. Top the jar with plastic wrap and sterilize the jars in the microwave (half full with water).
3) Fresh strawbs are a great dessert alone (top with sugar and cool whip) or over shortcake.

Puree a whole bunch with a bit of sugar and store in little containers in the freezer. Good for smoothies or daiquiris. Look up fruit pizza, strawberry shortcake, make jam, make chocolate dipped strawberries, have dinner and make a fruit centerpiece with strawberries hanging off the edge. Mash them up with a little amaretto and almond extract and cook over low heat, then serve over vanilla ice cream.
Random ideas.

Strawberry shortcake is great!
Another cool idea, strawberries and sour cream.
Sounds weird, but tastes great.
Espeially in the summer.
