Which murder case? There have been a lot of those murder cases.

One of the better known... at least to historians and students in Boulder, CO, is the story of Albert Packer. He was a miner back around the turn of the century. During a harsh winter he killed, dressed out the meat, cooked and ate his buddies.

At his trial, the Judge said at sentencing: Albert Packer... you S.O.B.... there was just 4 Republicans in the whole county and you et 'em.... I sentence you to hang.

Albert Packer days are a big deal at the Univ. of Colorado

Ed Gein was another from case in Wisc. in the late 40's early 50's. It was this real life psycho killer that inspired characters in later horror movies.
