Is there other people out there like me who have holed up in their house and just don't go anywhere hardly at all???

Went a farewell on the weekend for a guy who is going home to the UK, we have been mates for about 8 months:

On saturday night though he was rude and arrogant towards myself and another friend who drove for 3 hours to come to the farewell. Examples are:
1. He bought a round of drinks for everyone there - except for us, he pointed toward the bar and told us to get our own.
2. He was rude to us in front of the whole group and he spoke to me like I was a dog (ie:when his other friend wanted the salt, instead of asking me nicely to pass it to her all he said was 'Rachel, salt now!).
3. He argued over everything I said, about stupid things like how cold it gets in winter (he has never, ever spent a winter here!)

So he leaves tonight and I was supposed to meet him for lunch but I have lied and said I can't. I feel a little guilty but he really annoyed me on saturday night by treating me like sh!t for no reason. Should I feel guilty or not?

i didnt leave the company on great terms. but dont want to bash, nor should i, bash the company.

i wanted to say, i left the company in pursuit of full time oppurtunities utilizing my skills and experiences.

fyi: my last job before this one was a full time one but i left for the job i recently quit on to gain experience and skills. my first job i was in the mailroom and there were a lack of oppurtunities because i was told i lacked experiences.. so i left(on great terms) for the this job i quit on recently.

Same hypothetical situation, different hypothetical question: God cannot allow you to go to hell to be with your spouse since you have not commited sin and God is all about balance. Besides, it wouldn't help anyway because your spouse would still be alone and tortured, as that is the nature of hell.

HOWEVER, God is all about trades - Jesus was able to take our sin upon him and God is willing to make a similar trade in this situation. SOMEONE has to go to hell - but it doesn't have to be your spouse.

Would you trade places with your spouse, giving up heaven and taking on hell, even knowing that you will be alone and tortured for eternity?

There are no other choices, no "both" or "neither". One of you gets hell. Which one?

I prefer Japanese cars, specifically the hondas and toyotas, nissans as well. But can't afford as much right now. We need a second car for my wife, who is just learning to drive. Doesn't want to drive our MDX, feels it's too large for her. If I had the money, I'd get a new Fit or a Versa - but cash flow is a bit slow right now. So I'm looking used - only looking to spend $10G CAD. To get a used Civic for that price, I'd have to go a bit older than I like. So I'm considering the 2003 or 2004 Suzuki Aerio, 2004 Hyundai Elantra hatchback, or an older (2002?) Echo (hard to find them that old with lower mileage. Any thoughts/suggestions? I'd like to consider the Cobalt, but I have heard bad things about their crash test ratings. As mentioned, my wife would be a new driver, but often with 2 young children, so safety would be important.

Okay, so I'm an atheist. Formerly a Christian--that was a miserable experience for me. However, I have been attending church with my Mormon friends and some of their functions, and it makes me feel very peaceful, in way I can't explain. I'm going to read the Book of Mormon this summer, but I do have trouble understanding that type of language. Is there any good supplement to it? I have so many questions about LDS but wouldn't want to ask until I was more knowledgeable. I really want to read the Book of Mormon so I have read the core of their beliefs, but I just want to make sure I understand. Any suggestions?

They have VERY similar features. Kimberly also played in John Q, and Woman thou art loosed. I know that cicily has no children, but maybe she is a neice or something. I can see her looking exactly like cicily when she is older. Can anyone answer this question?

im going to a casino with a couple friends next week with the intention of coming back with some money. this is my first time im going and its kinda like a short term financial planning but am not dependent on this money if lsoe it even though i will be heartbroken. im going with $2000. does any1 have any advise on what games i shold play there and how i was thinking blackjacks. does any1 know any tips to help me in black jacks but any tips in general are welcome specialy if u have experience and know things forsure like this guy i use to know when i was real young. he went into a casino with 800 and left with 4000 and did it for quite some time but i dont know him now that i am old. so any one with a good tip or advise thanks for leaving it

I recently sent my resume over the internet using Resume Delivery and I believed a scam (for a few days).

After doing some homework on Nigeria Internet scams, I see that this too is a scam. (I was told to cash checks for this company and the person emailing me-NEVER gave me his name.)

I have NOT cashed any checks, both are sitting here-waiting. I was told from a friend--to shred the bogus checks. I went on line and reported this to the DOJ and to the FBI and to another website-about 419 internet scams.

I read on the FBI website that I should keep all hard copies of evidence that is why I am not trashing the bogus checks.

The person that was emailing me now is stating that he will report ME to the FBI. He said today in an email that the CIA will be at my door on Monday morning. Everyone in America knows that Monday is a holiday in America--Memorial Day.
Again, I lost no money.

Is he using scare tatics? Should I keep his emails as evidence too?

Seems to me it would just about eliminate the TOS violations, and keep the tender eyes away from this place, which is where they should be anyways.....

I tried formatting from the prompt. It said that it couldn't run format because the drive was in use. It prompted to force a dismount. It then said that it couldn't lock the drive and it is still in use. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to these things. I probably overlooked something simple. Any help is appreciated.
