IM GOING TO A CASINO NEXT WEEK.........any advise?

im going to a casino with a couple friends next week with the intention of coming back with some money. this is my first time im going and its kinda like a short term financial planning but am not dependent on this money if lsoe it even though i will be heartbroken. im going with $2000. does any1 have any advise on what games i shold play there and how i was thinking blackjacks. does any1 know any tips to help me in black jacks but any tips in general are welcome specialy if u have experience and know things forsure like this guy i use to know when i was real young. he went into a casino with 800 and left with 4000 and did it for quite some time but i dont know him now that i am old. so any one with a good tip or advise thanks for leaving it

First off, no matter what game you decide to play, the key is to play it properly every time. Blackjack gives you some best odds at winning, the casino wins about 51% of the time and you win about 49% of the time, This means that out of 100 bets you should only lose 2 times. This is only the case if you play properly and follow the basic rules of sticking, hitting, doubling and so forth. These numbers prove true more in the long term than the short term,
Slot machines by law must payout at a certain rate, but which machine pays out when, and how much is a crap shoot. I prefer the poker machines, of all the machines, because you have some control over the results, and again if you follow the rules of play, i.e. knowing which cards to hold. Usually to make good money on machines, the key is to stay in the game and hope to hit a big payout. Keno is about the worst paying out game in the casino.

Depending on the casino there are usually other table games offered, but most of them such as 3 card poker, and let em ride, payout less often than blackjack.

With so many things to choose from, the most important advice is to decide how much you are willing to lose before you go. Also know when to walk away, even if its only for a 10 minute break, or to change tables. People make the most mistakes and lose the most money when they are on a bad run and are trying to make their money back.

Seeing as you leave next week, you probably dont have enough practice time. The best bets for you are craps, baccarat, and sports betting. If you are not into sports, forget that last one (though it does give you the most bet for your money as it usually takes hours for the conclusion of an event). Craps is much simpler than most people know. You bet on the PASS line or the DON'T PASS line. Over the entire lifetime of play, you will lose about $1.30 of every $100 you bet. The thing is, you can make a lot of money in a little amount of time or walk away after a few losing bets. If you do decide to play, do not make all of the foolish bets you see people make in the middle of the table. If you do, you will go broke fast (expect to lose between $7-22 per $100). If you can't handle the ups and downs of craps, try baccarat. Another very low disadvantage game, you just chose between one of two options...will the DEALER hand or the PLAYER hand win. You dont even need to know the rules, though they usually supply rule cards for the asking, because there are no options after the bet is placed. Blackjack gives you the best odds but the casino still has a better than 2 to 1 of taking all your money. Unless you have lots of practice or are one of the luckiest people on the planet, play for fun but don't TAKE any money you can't afford to lose. Also be aware there is what's considered the proper plays at blackjack if you play at high stakes tables and don't make the proper plays the other players will hate you. You would be smartest to use at least your first few trips to learn all you can.

When going to the casino the best games to play are blackjack, craps or video poker, just remember there is a 90% chance that you are going to lose. Another good game to play if the casino has a poker room or a sportsbook you would havea better chance with that. Get a players card if you are betting that much. You will get a ton of comps. Your room will be free, some t shirts and your food will also be free.

If you lsot 250 to 500 quit. You are not going to recover.
If you win 250-500 now your playing with their money. Put your away and when you lose the winnings. Time to go to the pool, spa and stay out of the casino.

Umm Sweetheart which part of OZ are you coming to??? We're in Summer now. If you are coming to Queensland bring cool, breezy light clothing. It's usual to be in the mid-high 30's with high humidity (makes you feel clammy and bleh). Even if you are going to southern states they can have scorcher days into the 40's. Those boots are gorgeous but you won't get much wear during summer (unless you go to melbourne where you can experience 4 seasons in one day LOL just kidding). Have a look at australian store sites to see whats this season and what is typical for OZ summers. Bring your Togs (bathers, swimmers, cozzie) plenty of sunscreeen & mozzie repellant. and a smile.
