Is the phrase, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" meant to be used as a standard sentence, or as a limiting statute?

Obviously, there did not exist the well-defined courts system we use today, but what further references in the Bible can show how God wants us to punish one another?

As a limiting statute, there would be no opportunity for victims to obtain compensation for pain and suffering, as damages would be limited to costs incurred.

Is it that the concept of reparations simply did not include the pain and suffering inflicted by those convicted in those times?

what exactly is darrhea? like as far as it being caused by eating food...is it the food you just ate, or is it feces that was already there and didn't get a chance to firm up?

i don't mean this to be gross. i'm seriously curious...i don't see how it could be what you just ate already, but then how come there's no regular poo...like solid? why is it all diarrhea-y?

if anyone could explain....seriously....you can have best answer.

ive had this booty call for 2-3 months now, and the last time we "saw" eachother, he says "lets take a break, not too long.. just a little break.." then when we went in our separate cars, he says "see you later"... its been two weeks. no call, no text. did he write me off. More then once now I have dreamed of a girl that I have never ment before. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and I just think about her and I am filled with joy. In my dreams we never speak....we just hold each other...have fun....like childhood friends......I remember laying in the sun with her on a rock in the middle of a river....I remember watching the sun set in Hawaii on the edge of a cliff (I've never been to Hawaii) I remember falling asleep with her on the roof of her house while we watched the stars and the moon come up. I remember what she looks like. I feel like I've known her all my life....but I don't even know if she's real...... is it possible for someone to have a connection with there soulmate like this? My girlfriend has been cheating on me since last September. It was never more than a time or two, with several different guys. She said the reason was she thought I didn't want to be with her, so instead of talking she was *******. We have talked about it, and she regrets it terribly. She doesn't want to lose me. At this moment she is "dating" another guy. The only reason she is still letting him think they're dating is because he hasn't done anything wrong and she doesn't want to hurt him. She's made it abundantly clear that she wants to stay with me, and for some strange and stupid reason I want to give her a chance. I'm not perfect, we've had our fights, mostly because of me. But I always showed her my love and caring, I've never hit her or abused her. I know all the sayings, "Once a cheater, always a cheater.." etc, but what if she actually does change. Should I even consider giving a chance? We both want to fix things and stay together? Has anyone ever had this work?

Okay well i just started the birthcontrol [Desogen] .
I was directed to take them the sunday after my period starts .. so i did.
Usually when I have my period my breasts get sore.
But now its a week after my period and my breasts are still sore. Could this be from the birth control?. Im a little concernced. Help please.
