my ipod says it can perform faster if i connect it to a high-speed USB port. where is that on my computer? i have a dell dimension 4400

The high speed USB port is anyone located on your computer tower, some USB ports are located on monitors through other hubs ETC, just use any one on your computer tower and you will be fine....

On older models of computers they had only USB 1.0. Then they came out with USB 2.0 which is a high speed USB port. By saying that your ipod can perform better just means you can download songs, pictures and video faster. Try using the ports in the front and back of your computer to see if there is a difference. Some computers had the high speed ports in the front or back. If not, then your computer doesn't have it. No big deal, next computer definitly will.

you dnt really need 1 u can stil transfer stuff to it trust me i used 2 have an older comp dat wuz like 9 yrs old n it wud sugesy that but everthing workd good

if it says that when you plug it it it means your pc does not have high speed usb, you only have usb1.1 and not usb2. sorry
