Vet can tell you if it's fine, or if it may get infected, things to look for.
How on earth did he do this?

Be sure the blood is no longer flowing. If so, take him to the vet. He probably got the claw stuck on something and pulled it out. It will grow back. Declawing of the cat means to surgically remove the last bone in it's toe than contains the claw. I don't think this happened or you'd be at the vet already. : )
Make sure there is nothing else he can get his claws stuck in to as well.

Spray some saline solution on there and then coat the wounds with a layer of neosporin. You cant really keep a wound covered on a cat so just be sure to check the wounds like twice a day and continue with the saline and neosporin until they start to heal.

He couldn't have declawed himself because, to do that he would to have had to cut off some of his actual (finger) He probably just ripped his nail off. It might grow back and it might not, but if it's not bleeding, dont worry about it.

Keep wounds clean, apply a antiseptic creme..(Calendula Gel works great...or can use neosporin or equilvalent) claw will regrow, unless toe was amputated at the first knuckle . It may grown a bit deformed sometimes.

Then i guess it should be fine. However possibility it will grow back though. I don't know if you have barber carpet, but it you do or something similar to it they claim its good for pulling cats claws out and getting them stuck in them. ( ? ) Good luck

cats claws do fall out, then they'll grow a new one. If you don't believe me, then take him to the vet for about 200 bucks.

Treat with hydrogen peroxide and take to vet if any sign of infection and maybe just for reassurance. Should be okay.

i'd just take him to the vet, they always seem to know what to do.
if you cant do that, just try to get him to stop bleeding.
