i have been going off and on with my bf for the past 5 months... i am leaving soon since school is almost out...im happy that im getting out of school but everytime i bring it up, he gets all upset...anyway, yesterday we were talking about it again...and then all of a sudden, he would hardly say anything to me...when i told him i loved him, all he could say was "i know"...then he told me goodbye...then he was so cold hearted after that... does this mean its the end for us? i really love him...how can i make him understand that we could still be together even though im leaving for a couple months? im really hurting right now and it seems like he doesnt care....please help..thanks!

Well... I might say that having a long distance relationship is very hard... I myself am in one currently, and it requires a lot of maturity and understanding...
I think your BF is having a hard time with the idea that he might loose you...
he might not prepared to continue with the relationship...

Maybe he's just hurt that he thinks you won't be seeign each other. He just doens't know how to cope with it, and you looking forward to ending school (which is way different than ending your relationship with him) might make him feel that it will be the end, and he just doesn't want to talk about it.
Or how to talk about the relationship afterward. I'm understanding that you won't be living in the same city since you're off school. In part, I think that long distance love is not easy, and more often that not it won't work out.
What do you want to do with the relationship after you leave? Be honest. Both with him and yourself. Maybe it's just better to end it here than just putting more wood into the fire.

I think he loves you very much but he is just scared since school is ending, and he is so hurt about it he doesnt know what to do about his emotions. A lot of men go through this and he doesnt want to loose you this is why he is acting in this way.

gosh girl i know how u feel. well first u got to get him to TALK TO U! if it dont work then write him littel messages here and there! just try to comunicate if u dont u will never know!!! and if he does be cold hearted then tell him u cant stand it no more and that u cant hurt like this and still love him if he dont love u! so ya just really talk to him!

he is probably trying to distance himself from you so he can feel like he hurt you, instead of you hurting him. Just let him know how much you care about him, and that when you get back hopefully you can pick up where you left off.

he cares cuz he doesn't want you to leave him and he's probably afriad that you might fall for some one else and so he doesnt want to think about that since you are his girl and he cars about you soooo much and that he will miss you to so dont talk about cuz you are hurting him too

he cares gurl..but i think he'll miss you so much thats why he's acting like that..talk to him and go directly to your point..if he really loves you, he'll understand everything and so..he can wait.
