Okay i am on proportions now. . .ive been a straight A math student till now.

I have all these things and i cant find the answer and i keep getting low scores on it (luckily my teacher is letting me get many chances.)

So can you help me figure out problems LIKE these:

1)If Bob buys seven pounds of candy for $3.43, which proportion can be used to calculate the cost of each pound of candy?

2)One of the questions on Judy's homework states
'Find two consecutive integers whose sum is 15.'

Which equation represents this problem?

3)What is the solution set of two consecutive even integers whose sum is 26.

4)One of the questions on Jo's homework states
'Find two consecutive integers whose sum is -7.'

Which of the following statements are true about the solution?

5)If you add 8 to Susan's age, the sum is 24. Solving which equation for A would determine Susan's age? A represents Susan's age

These are the 5 problems that give me problems.

There is a popular belief that Marie magdalene was jesus sex partner, what's your take on this?

Jesus had a child with Mary Magdalene, with whom he was married. The descendants of this child became the Merovingian kings of France.
The Church has suppressed the truth about Mary Magdalene and the Jesus bloodline for 2000 years.
A secret order protects these royal claimants because they may be the literal descendants of Jesus and his wife, Mary Magdalene, or, at the very least, of King David (the Davidic line) and High Priest Aaron.
This secret society known as Priory of Sion has a long and illustrious history dating back to the First Crusade starting with the creation of the Knights Templar as its military and financial front. The Priory is led by a Grand Master or Nautonnier.
It is devoted to returning the Merovingian dynasty, that ruled the Frankish kingdom from the fifth century to 751, to the thrones of Europe.
The Roman Catholic Church tried to kill off all remnants of this dynasty and their guardians, the Cathars and the Templars, during the Inquisition, in order to maintain power through the apostolic succession of Peter instead of the hereditary succession of Mary Magdalene.
A variation on the theory is that instead of dying on the cross, Jesus (in this story known as Yuz Asaf) fled to Kashmir where he died in old age, returning to Srinagar where he had originally been influenced by Hindu and Buddhist teachings. 1 This theory is lent credence by close comparisons of Jesus' sayings in the Gnostic Gospel of St Thomas, which are seen by some as closely paralleling classical Buddhist Sutras.

The Jesus Bloodline "theory" also has parallels with other "disciple flight to distant lands" stories, such as the one that Joseph of Arimathea travelled to England after the death of Jesus taking with him a piece of thorn from the Crown of Thorns, which he later planted in Glastonbury. Historians generally regard these stories as medieval inventions.

Are you aware that there are many Christian documents that were written during the First Century C.E. (such as the Gospel of Peter, the Gospel of Thomas, The Shepherd, the Didace) that aren't part of the Bible? Are you aware that the decisions as to which writings would be included in the Christian Bible were made over 1600 years ago?
Tell me everything you know about (1) those book-choosing/book-rejecting people in the Fourth Century C.E. and (2) the decision-making processes that they used and (3) explain to me why you trust them so much. Can you name even one of them?
Aren't you terribly worried that some of what's in your Bible doesn't belong there, or that there's something left out that is very important? Aren't you taking a huge leap of faith ... not with regard to your God, but with regard to the Fourth-Century folks who cobbled together the oddball collection of writings we now refer to as "the Bible?"

Well, my best friend Jordan(guy) and I are going to the movies tonight. Well, Jordan and I like each other(we both told each other) and said we'd go out with each other in high school(less than 20 days away!!!) Tonight its just going to be us and I'm scared/anxious to see what's going to happen. My mind is really blocked right now and he says he really likes me and gives me all these compliments and does things like give me flowers when I'm sad, but I have NO clue what's going on!!! We haven't called it a "date" yet and I don't know what is going to happen tonight, does anyone have a clue what might happen??? Because, I really want something to happen between us, but I've never had a boyfriend before so I don't know all the tricks of the trade...any suggestions(tricks) please!!! Those would also be greatly appreciated!!!

Ok so I needed to get some home repairs done on my new house (old house but had it less than 6months) It first started with bats flying into my house through the chimeny so the bat catcher gave me a number to a chimeny repairman because it needed to be tuckpointed. After several no shows and misses on both parts we finally got in together and he bid $550 to fix the chimeny, new cage on top, and fix the hole in my ceiling (ac story). Well the morning that he was suppose to come out and fix my ceiling he called and said he had an emergancy at another home and since I would be at work just leave the deposit in the mail box and he would work on the chimney on the outside while I was gone. He was suppose to leave an invoice in the mailbox. When i got home from work the check was gone, no invoice, and it didn't seem like any work had been done. Suppose to come out the next day but never showed. Haven't been able to get ahold of him and he won't return my phone calls. what do I do?
