There is a popular belief that Marie magdalene was jesus sex partner, what's your take on this?
Jesus had a child with Mary Magdalene, with whom he was married. The descendants of this child became the Merovingian kings of France.
The Church has suppressed the truth about Mary Magdalene and the Jesus bloodline for 2000 years.
A secret order protects these royal claimants because they may be the literal descendants of Jesus and his wife, Mary Magdalene, or, at the very least, of King David (the Davidic line) and High Priest Aaron.
This secret society known as Priory of Sion has a long and illustrious history dating back to the First Crusade starting with the creation of the Knights Templar as its military and financial front. The Priory is led by a Grand Master or Nautonnier.
It is devoted to returning the Merovingian dynasty, that ruled the Frankish kingdom from the fifth century to 751, to the thrones of Europe.
The Roman Catholic Church tried to kill off all remnants of this dynasty and their guardians, the Cathars and the Templars, during the Inquisition, in order to maintain power through the apostolic succession of Peter instead of the hereditary succession of Mary Magdalene.
A variation on the theory is that instead of dying on the cross, Jesus (in this story known as Yuz Asaf) fled to Kashmir where he died in old age, returning to Srinagar where he had originally been influenced by Hindu and Buddhist teachings. 1 This theory is lent credence by close comparisons of Jesus' sayings in the Gnostic Gospel of St Thomas, which are seen by some as closely paralleling classical Buddhist Sutras.
The Jesus Bloodline "theory" also has parallels with other "disciple flight to distant lands" stories, such as the one that Joseph of Arimathea travelled to England after the death of Jesus taking with him a piece of thorn from the Crown of Thorns, which he later planted in Glastonbury. Historians generally regard these stories as medieval inventions.

I think, to get a better understanding of how the nonsexual Christ comes into today's beliefs, one should look to the period in history in which the King James version of the bible was written and also when the Catholic religion was born. Inheritance was the only way one could really acquire status/ power. The Catholic church began a meritocracy of sorts, where religious followers could actually work their way up. After all, if everyone in the church is disallowed from having children, no one has to worry about them taking over the church when a leader passes away. For those less ambitious, and I am not stating this as fact, rather my opinion, it seems necessary to say to the followers that living a nonsexual life is holier than the sexual life...Or how else could you get people to accept such a state of being?

Okay, I had to stop halfway through the answers. SEX IS A SIN??!
It's a wonder we survive!
Thank-you for putting all that out there. Again, Dan Brown only took information that was already out there and put it into a story that became mainstream so that EVERYONE got the chance to hear it.
Best thing that ever happen considering that right before it the "Passion of the Christ" came out. Slaughtering Jesus, over and over? How come that's okay?

No, he didn't have sex. Yes he was human and had urges that he would have had to fight but he was also God and had the ability to control his mind and body and choose not to sin. Not only did he not have sex he also did not commit ANY sin while he was on earth. That means he never even gave in to a wrong thought. He was sinless and worthy to be the holy sacrifice that has made us all clean by offering his pure blood to pay for our sins. His sacrifice covers our sins, that was his charge and his purpose and his gift to us. He couldn't have done it if he wasn't completely free of sin himself. Thank you Lord.

I think Jesus married Marie Magdalene, and had a child. I think Jesus was good man with good intention. I do not think he had magic power, but the power of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. To me god is really our conscious, which our ability to have sense of right and wrong that what makes him, a man of god. To me, he is a teacher that taught people to think of others and to care about others too.

i think youve gone off the deep end! jesus was god's most purest gift to the people of the world. jesus was human yes, tempted yes, but he kept his life unobstructed from anything that might hinder the fulfillment of his purpose in life.
i know ther arre many theories and thankfully we ae all free to believe in what we choose. but what you are proposing sounds like a divinci code by line. but good luck, ill be interested to read other answers you receive.

No, Jesus did not have sex. Why do I say this? He was sinless...if not, He could nat have been the "perfect" sacrifice! Nowhere does it speak of Him and Mary getting married. Nor, does it speak of Him being married to anyone, period!
Therefore, the answer is no. Had He just had sex, then it would have broken a covenant with His Father! NO WAY!!

NO Jesus did not have sex because the Bible tells us that He was perfect and any man who is perfect will not commit fornication or any other type of sin..And MAry and Jesus were not married so it would be a sin.Jesus did not come into this world to get a sex buddy! He came to save our souls from eternal damnation and the idea that these people have come up with is without merit.

I don't believe this, mainly because I have grown in my relationship with Jesus and have realized that His life was far beyond what we could imagine. There is no way a man so great as Jesus would have disrespected a woman by having sex with her and potentially getting her pregnant...in those times that was a virtual death sentence for a girls social life. And I don't believe he was ever married, I think there would be a lot more evidence on that if he did

I read somewhere that they were married and that she was referred to as a "partner" but at that time the translation could also have meant "spouse".
You also have to remember what info was lost in the dead sea scrolls and other books so there won't be as much evidence.
