My Fiancee and I have chosen the names Oriana for a girl and Orin King for a boy and she hates both! What do you think? I am going to name them that regardless of what she thinks, but I just want to know that I am not the only 1 that likes it!

The Cowboy and Lesbian?

An old cowboy sat down at the Star bucks and ordered a cup of coffee.
As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him.

She turned to the cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "Well, I've spent my whole life breaking colts, working cows, going to rodeos, fixing fences, pulling calves,bailing hay, doctoring calves, cleaning my barn, fixing flats, working on tractors, and feeding my dogs, so I guess I am a cowboy."

She said, "I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about women. When I shower, I think about women. When I watch TV, I think about women. I even think about women when I eat. It seems that everything makes me think of women."

The two sat sipping in silence.

A little while later, a man sat down on the other side of the old cowboy and asked, "Are you a real cowboy?"

He replied, "I always thought I was, but I just found out that I'm a lesbian."

I have a question about Drive C Surface Scan....?

My computer runs this Drive C Surface Scan several times daily and I wonder why?? Most of the time it runs it when I turn the computer on but it will run anytime and it is quite annoying. Any ideas?? Or suggestions?? Thank You

My child who is 18 years of age has finished school, but refuses to go to college.?

He says he prefers to work, but he still does not go out there to look for work. I have insisted that he look for a job, at least any job, until he can get something he is qualified for, instead he watches TV, and hangs out with his friends. Is this a phase with young men? Do they want to idle their life away instead of accepting adulthood? What should I do about the situation?

Strange or Not?

What do you think of a situation where a girl gets engaged and keeps calling her ex-boyfriend and telling him that she still loves him and misses him and "you're my soulmate". When the ex asks her why she is doing this (he's not going back to her even if he could, he's curious) she gets snippy and asks him why he needs to know. It would seem engaged girls who are a month away from getting married and alledgely so much in love with her fiance would be not calling their ex and telling him these kinds of things. Is this abnormal or is the ex out of date with how relationships are supposed to work with young womtn (this one's in her mid '20's)?

What's a woman's motivation behind becoming an escort besides money?

Call me naive, but are there women out there that actually enjoy being an escort or is it just women that are down on their luck or trying to support a drug habit or something similar? I can't see the logic that this is something that a woman would enjoy this. Also, wouldn't she become numb down there or at least "dry" if having several encounters in a day? Again forgive me for being naive!

Question about the origin of the false accusation against Jews of the blood libel...?

Pagan Romans early on started rumors about Christians with regard to communion. Since Christians spoke of drinking the bloof of Christ, and also spoke of Christ as a little child, it became a rumor that what Christians were really doing during communion was hiding a newborn in a loaf of bread - and then they would have a new initiate cut it open, and then they would eat the flesh.

In the Middle Ages, Christians started a rumor that Jews would kill a Christian child, and bake his blood in their Passover Matzah.

These 2 accusations seem related to me. But why would Christians believe this about Jews, when they themselves had to endure persecution on account of the false accusation placed on them?

Are these rumors related?

Help with my 9 year old???:)?

I have a daughter who is 9 and I'm not sure if I should put a television into her bedroom. She is saying that all of her friends have one. I bought her one and it came with a dvd player. Since then her grades have been dropping. She is in 3rd grade so she needs to do well. Now she is asking for an ipod, PSP, Laptop, makeup, thongs, bras. I think she thinks that because she has a tv she is an adult. I told her no but she begs and begs. What should I do? I don't want to give in to her.

Any advice???

P.S. She also has a boyfriend and writes in her diary about kissing, makingout, and sex!! This tv is teaching her too much.
