When I was younger I had very thick, full hair. I dyed it when I was in high school and it started thinning. I stopped dyeing it when I was 19, but my hair keeps falling out. I eat a healthy, well balanced diet and I don't use any chemicals in my hair, don't wear it in a ponytail, or blow dry/style it. it. I don't have any kids either so I don't think it could be a hormone problem, and it's not hereditary. It's so thin, I'm embarrassed and self conscious about it. What could it be?

Aura of the Rose

A single red rose rests upon a grand piano, reveling in its own delicate beauty. The room contains no walls; its boundaries are limitless. A rich, midnight black is present throughout the atmosphere. Though the room exists boundless, the rose possesses a divine aura, which blossoms in the eyes of many. It signifies a vast number of things… A petal dropped for Loneliness… A petal shed for Hope… A petal given for Romance… A petal kept for Solitude… Yet, somewhere, amidst all of its meanings, lays a hushed heavenly elegance.

I am a Christian, and i was reading some science based articles that actually supported religion. The following is one of the paragraphs and i was wondering if you could give your opinion on it. It argues the fact that the earth isnt as old as other scientists are saying - which supports the bible's timeline

Decay of Earth's Magnetic Field... Dr. Thomas Barnes, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of Texas at El Paso, has published the definitive work in this field.4 Scientific observations since 1829 have shown that the earth's magnetic field has been measurably decaying at an exponential rate, demonstrating its half-life to be approximately 1,400 years. In practical application its strength 20,000 years ago would approximate that of a magnetic star. Under those conditions many of the molecules necessary for life processes could not form. These data demonstrate that earth's entire history is young, within a few thousand of years.

I want to make some pasta salad, the kind with the swirly tri-colored pasta. I don't really know how though, and I figured I'd have someone recommend me a good recipe rather than just trying some random one I find online.

I'd like to put some extra virgin olive oil in it for the health benefits. And I don't like many vegetables besides carrots and brocolli (I hate olives). So what do you think?

Q: A store sells two chocolate baseballs for the same price. One is hollow sphere 10 cm in diameter on the outside, with a shell that is 1 cm thick. The other is a solid sphere with a diameter 8 cm. Which sphere contains more chocolate?

What I did:

I treated the diameter on the outside as the diameter of the sphere. So for the hollow sphere, I found the volume of the entire sphere, then using 10cm-2cm= 8cm as the diameter for the inner hollow part to calculate that part of volume. Then I substract the total volume of the hollow sphere by the volume of the inner hollow part, therefore I can get the volume of the solid thickness of chocolate of the hollow sphere.

Next in terms of the solid sphere, I just use the simple formula, plug in the radius (4cm) and calculate the volume.

In the end my answer was that the solid sphere contains more chocolate than the hollow but the answer was suppose to be the HOLLOW SPHERE.

Please help

Mothers day has passed and my moms birthday is coming up so we decided to get her one big gift. We have never had a pet before so my brother suggested a dog. We live in a small apartment, there are no kids, we would walk it whenever necessary, would like minimal shedding and pet dander, grooming isn't a big deal so long it can be done at home, it must be small, doesn't bark a lot or very loudly, and is friendly. Would a papillon fit these conditions? If not, what other breeds do you recommend?
