Sounds like a bad power supply.

If your pc doesn't boot up then do the following"

When you first press the start switch, tap the F8 key repeatedly. That should bring up a bootup selection screen. On that screen select "Last know good configuration that worked" and hit return. If this cures the problem then all is well.

If not, you might have to reinstall Windows which you can do from the Recovery Console. You can bring up this console by tapping the F10 key repeatedly when you press the start switch. Select System Recovery and follow the prompts to reinstall Windows.

You might want to check the power management setting. Click on Start, open Control Panel, open Display, click on Screen Saver, click on Power. Make sure all the options are set to Never, then i wont shut down by itself.

Hi Bulldogs_rule,

As other users have suggested it could be a number of problems from power supply or a fried unit. Send us an email at support@carbonfrost.com and include a detailed report of what exactly happened and we will work with you one on one and hopefully figure it out.

Take it to the shop, can be any number of things, but it sounds like your power supply went bad.

Dig out your installation disk and put it in the CD drive and then try and boot from the CD and go into Recovery Console and try and check and repair your system from there.
