When I try and play a dvd disc it's telling me that there is a malfunction.And it's saying decoder error.
So how can I fix this problem?

What software are you using to play the DVD with. Operating system information would be helpful too. Try reinstalling your DVD player. Also some Sony AaRcos encrypted DVD's may not play on all machines.

There may be a problem of you not having the correct encoding software on your computer in order to read the disc. If there error happens when in Windows Media player they can find the software you need and you can download it.

Decoder error meant you may not have one or one youhave doesnt work, try installing another , PowerDVD or WinDVD when installed correctly will install the decoder at the same time.
