she was sure something in her day! I don't think I ever missed an episode that had her in it. And the last one, when she hands over the reigns to another woman, I actually cried. And then never bothered with the series again. There was only one female avenger as far as I could ever see: Emma!!!! I even got a dress exactly like one of hers with all the sexy zippers, and wore it to the first day of school. And it was a catholic, all girl school run by nuns; you can imagine how they felt about that. LoL. She was my hero; still is! I am lucky too; got a body that might look like hers. Could still wear the dress.

It's true, Diana Rigg is indeed an icon. She comes from that stage in theatrical excellence where, it wasn't what you looked like, but how you interpreted a role.
Of course, it goes without saying, this wonderful dame of the British stage was as beautiful as she was talented. Want to know another fact? ... She is still beautiful today; the reason for this being, her beauty is far from merely skin deep!

Diana Rigg is as delightful off screen as she is on. A wonderful woman with a very earthy sense of humour.
She never fails to thank the people who work with her like the costume/wig/make up/ lighting etc etc, usually it is free drinks.
There are others who have non of her talent and are the rudest, ignorant bullies.

Oh! Mrs. Peel. Diana Rigg is one of my favorite actresses. Have you seen the PBS "Mystery" , a three parter called "Mother Love" ? I so need a copy of that.
