Where do you get your morals from if not from the Bible?

The cultures of the world all have codes of conduct, even the ancient ones, and many of these codes predate the writing of the various books of the Bible and almost all predate each cultures first exposure to the Bible.

Where did the Greek Philosophers gain their insights? Did Socrates have no morals? Was Pythagoras lost? Confucius? Buddha? The American tribes? Eskimos?

i don't know what happen to me now. i was supposed to be very happy if people & parents buy me something. my dad bought me a new Sony Ericsson K800i & I'm having huge pressures & depressed when using it. i feel extremely upset if my friends keep buying me stuff such as laptops, clothes, expensive watches & even vehicles.

may i know what's wrong with me at the moment? am i under depression with something?

will depression affect me when doing exams as it will be starting in 2 weeks

I am looking to purchase a used vehicle and am thinking of purchasing certified used. I have thought of going with a BMW and have found several with low miles that I think are for a good price. Many of my friends tell me that they are good cars but expensive to repair. Would I be better off purchasing say a Ford or other make because parts would be less expensive? Which would give me the best service overall. I drive less than 20,000 a year and have had my current car for 10 years, so I like to keep a vehicle and to not have to drive the latest and greatest. Thanks for your time in answering this question.

I'm not trying to start any crap here...

Some women nowadays are annoying and abussive as hell, and needed a good slap in the face to show them what up. I HATE how the media is constantly portraying men/husband/father as abussive, they failed to realize that there are TONS of abusive women out there that need a good beating.

If I got married one day, and if my wife acting up and act real ****y, I'll slap her hard until she come to her sense. Some women need to know their place and shut up IMO.

In a sense of course, the answer would to be simply as stated: No. The reason for this being that I am an actual gamer and being the realist that I am, I have realized that all the violence in videogames could not have been possible without the violence within society. While Jack Thompson does have a few points in saying that videogames CAN be dangerous, he is completely without reason in saying that videogames need to be banned and all of them cause violence within todays society. So while society is to blame, who is to take a fair share of the blame as well? The answer being this; parents. If a child becomes violent because of a videogame it is not because of the game, but because of the lack of parenting the child has had and the teaching of the difference between reality and fantasy. I grew up playing videogames and I have played all, from the rating to E to M and beyond, I have become far more intellectual because of games, but that is just me, not you. Do any of you agree with me
