I just purchased an 8 inch uromastyx and got a 20 L gallon tank to start with. I now have a 100W infrared light on him and got a new uva/uvb bulb into a 10gallon strip light I had lying around. I have a black sticky thermometer about 3 inches up from the bottom of the tank and near the heat lamp and it only reads about 82 degrees. Is this normal or is the thermometer off or do I need to get a bigger watt bulb. I tried to do all the research first but something still isn't working out correctly for his heat. Also I was told the heat lamp was dangerous during the day when I'm not home.. so what can I do when I am away from the house and need to keep him at 110 degrees??

okay i believe in god and jesus and everything but sometimes i have my doubts.
i mean, there are so many other religions out there, how am i supposed to know if christianity is the true religion?
and i dont understand the whole thing about jesus coming back and it being the end of the world is that true?
i just pretty much believe that there is a god and i believe that im supposed to have morals and do good on earth..but is that enough? am i supposed to believe more?
and whenever i go to church, i just end up getting more confused.
please help and dont confuse me any more than i already am.

I really like nascar,but it's beginning to turn my stomach the way a lot of people are acting over j gordon.at this time i'm not for any particular driver,but i respect each and every one of them for what they do.one thing i have noticed though,it's only the jr. fans making coments about hendrick drivers.i've heard very few gordon fans make coments about jr.if he won every race (gordon or junior) i would still watch,because i'm a nascar fan.junior himself said that anyone who acted that way was no fan of his.by the way gordon and dale senior were business partners.most of you people need to grow up and enjoy the sport for what it is,and stop acting like little children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is your view on this:
If time were analogous (ie: then you could slow down time for an eternity without ever reaching a point where time ceases to flow completly)
if so, then this implies (or states) that all motion is "infinitely" fast (or slow, how ever you like it) to cover any distance, no matter how large or small.

And if any motion is infinitely swift
then this implies (or states) that any distance is infinitely great.
so your computer monitor is infinate distance from you, and it will take an eternity to move your first finger to begin a response.
time, like the wind, goes a hurrying by... :)

perhaps to answer my own question, the fact that its 'both' infinitely 'fast and slow' simultaneously renders it to a medium or average which becomes what we call "actuall" etc.
oh well, God is truly beautifull.

being human (seriously),
my perception is limited, so maybe someone could correct or clarify this logic to me.

i don't know what happe3ned i did not cut it or anything I have 3 cats but I did not get scratched. the ring finger however is very swollen around the nail. the other day I squeezed around the cuticle to bring out some pus, then I soaked in in hot water and used neosporin quite a bit and it was starting to get better now i noticed it has blown up again. it isvery soft like ablister but it noit a blister its hot and red and swelled what can id I have no antibiotics I do not really have a doctor and I am sure if I go to the er now i will be there for hours (its friday nite in my area there's shootings and stabbings that take precendent ) its not travelling up my arm and does not appear to be at the blood poisoning stage

I read the info on cloning, imaging, and backup.

What I really want too know is can I add a HDD too a my computer and transfer everything over too the new HDD and use it as the primary or Do I have too format and install the OS on it first.

Then transfer files too use that way.

Because if I am installing on the same system shouldn't I be able too just transfer The old HDD too the new and use it like the old.
