what is your view on this:
If time were analogous (ie: then you could slow down time for an eternity without ever reaching a point where time ceases to flow completly)
if so, then this implies (or states) that all motion is "infinitely" fast (or slow, how ever you like it) to cover any distance, no matter how large or small.

And if any motion is infinitely swift
then this implies (or states) that any distance is infinitely great.
so your computer monitor is infinate distance from you, and it will take an eternity to move your first finger to begin a response.
time, like the wind, goes a hurrying by... :)

perhaps to answer my own question, the fact that its 'both' infinitely 'fast and slow' simultaneously renders it to a medium or average which becomes what we call "actuall" etc.
oh well, God is truly beautifull.

being human (seriously),
my perception is limited, so maybe someone could correct or clarify this logic to me.

thanks in advance

Yes, that description could explain the "red shift" and a "black hole" or perhaps a "time machine" could solve the mysteries of "time and space." =<)

Time is the number assigned to motion. If time is descrete
then motion is descrete. But motion takes place in space, so then space is descrete. Then there is a problem : On a grid
you would have to take the same time traveling on a hypothenuse as you would on a leg. This contradicts your experience if you've ever taken a short cut. So i opt , at present, for the continuum.

Motion has variable rates of function.

Time is Perceived by us through the interaction of Motion.

A lightning bolt is Energy and through the interaction of the fluid energy discharge I perceive its existence for a fraction of a second.

The lightening bolt was a real and tangible thing for that fraction of a second, and it can, and sometimes does do irreparable damage to persons, places, or things in it's brief moment of tangible observed existence.

The vase upon my desk is made of matter energy, although unlike the lightening bolt, it's existence appears to me to be tangible for a much longer period of time than our lightening bolt, although like our lightening bolt my vases energy is also in constant motion, and will deteriorate over a great amount of time although I am unable to observe it's deterioration because it will out last my life time.

Time is a perception of motion, however if you could think of time, and motion as a long winding road which goes great distances, curves sharply and runs parallel to itself many times then you are left with two choices. follow the long and winding road, or simply stand where you are look across all of the vast distances of multiple roads running parallel to each other, and take the crosswalk traversing all of the roads in the shortest distance.

Once you find your crosswalk your perception of Time will change forever.
