My great aunt gave me the tackiest bracelet ever made when I was a teen. It was a bright enameled purple bangle with little green diamond-shaped mirrors glued to it and little black and brown beads that looked like tiny bugs. It was dark blue on the inside and had gold edges going around it. Don't remember what I ever did with it.

Thanks for the smile. I'd forgotten about it until now. ;-)

I think those metal flower pins from the 60-70s are the ugliest jewelry ever created.

A TV advert for a jewelers showed a flashy ring with diamonds and other jewels crammed onto it.
Some may love this style; I find it hideous.

The librarian at my high school was prone to wear earrings roughly the size of manhole covers.

I think it's a pair of goofy looking red earrings. Very out dated and out there, but I keep them because they were my grandmothers and couldn't let myself part with them.
