My boyfriend (who is incredibly intelligent recently told me that sometime during the 80's America (NASA, I would assume:)) launched a message to space in an attempt to introduce ourselves to "aliens". The message apparently had a picture of both a male and female who were saying hello. I've tried using both google and wikipedia and have found nothing.
I don't believe he just made this up, he's full of random facts.

that he has to talk to more then me... he says he needs them and it makes him feel good and that me and his guy friends are not good enough.... says he has to have close female friends that I do not know in order to be happy!! What is up with this and is it normal (I dont think so)????

All the places I have worked I have been promoted quickly. Just through hard work, or getting thrown in at the deep end and then doing ok. My boyfriend told me today that I shouldn't get promoted that quickly, that obviously I wouldn't know what I was doing.

I gave him examples of what it is that I do, and he says that it would be better done by someone trained to do it. I haven't done it wrong though, everyone at my workplace is happy that I do a good job. I have moved around, actually with my boyfriend and he says this reflects badly on me, but I never have problems finding work.

I dont understand, today he gave me interview type questions. like 'what experience have you had with xxx' and being negartive because I left my last job. I dont even answer as good as I would in an interview because he is my boyfriend. If I answer something badly though, he'll go, 'see that reflects badly on you in an interview'.

Everything I say, he assumes I'll get it wrong.

how would you get the public notify and get every one involve . also let the public know how much the gas co. will lose if this is done. this should be done at lease once every week untill the gas prices come down below $2.00 a gal.

If we give governments tools like this and there's a chance for abuse, I think the powers will be abused. Current adminstration included.

President Kennedy was assassinated in 1963. Today, TODAY!, they think that they have found evidence to support a theory that there were more killers of the President than the one 'convicted' in popular opinion and US governmental findings (L.H. Oswald). My question: If it takes 44 YEARS to come up with a final answer to that question (and we still don't know if it's final), why, and how, can we expect the same type of government panel to come up with the "REAL" reason behind the starting the Iraq war?

my mom had kidney failure when I was 11 and I moved from my home town to houston for better medical advice. she got a kidney transplant from her half sister and everything was getting better. then my dad started drinking more... and more... and more. he started coming home at 4 in the morning stumbing all over the place drunk as hell. i used to hear it alot, maybe three times a week. he left my mom. stuck us in a one bedroom apt. my mom was depressed, i was depressed. he would come and visit me maybe 3 times a month, if i was lucky. I never knew why he left my mom though, i thought he loved her... me and my mom moved to san antonio to get away from the ghetto and i barely talked to my dad, maybe once a month on the phone. then one day I get a call from this guy... chris. he said my dad is in the hostpital and i need to come see him. me and my mom pack up our bags and leave to houston. we get there and chris is his lover! my dad was gay!!! literally. that is what he was hiding from us.
