Rosie= Double Standards?

Today she says that she believes "all human life is equal". She is making the stand that an Iraqi life is equal to an American life...which is true as long as we are taking the evil people out of the equation, but here's the problem.
Yesterday she said that Martin Luther Kings daughter pasing was "terrible"..a "tragedy", and "very sad". Then one sentence later she says that Rev Falwell passing was "not so sad".
Does Rosie place an Iraqi's life over an American Evangelist...?
Tomorrow she will question why some people will see her as anti-American, and she will think it is a sexist thing...she has no clue.

refinish coffee table ideas extended?

I have decided to refinish my old coffee table with pieces of broken glass; thank you Mrscmmckim. I would like help with finding out what would best go with my house already. I have latin/spanish style pictures ect... What kind of tile or old plates color or style wise would bring out that spanish style.

Proper way to turn computer off at night?

At the end of the day we always shut down the computer, I prefer to use the little key, which says you can safely shut down your system. My husband always uses the other little box, and just shuts down the system.. Or is there any need to be concerned on which is used?

Adopting a baby from abroad?

I was born in Peru but became American citizen a few years ago. My wife is from Brazil and she is permanent resident of the United States. We both live in the United States. Anyone else feel that Compassion is Christian and even Falwell's death is no cause to celebrate?

Seriously, you can't be Christian, not HIS Chrisitan, but Christian, and not feel badly that another soul has been lost to evil and bigotry. If some of our world leaders and religious leaders have been troubled people who turned themselves around, then isn't a shame, not for us but for him, that he never turned around likewise?

What is the best way to clean my pack and play matris?

So i recently got a pack and play for my daughter. Im not due for another 7 weeks but anyways....I'm not sure if my cat thinks all the baby stuff is for him or hes just getting jealous....the asshole cat decided he was gonna piss in the pack and play-
I don't know if the company "graco" just screwed up and didn't make it easy for someone to wash it or what but i don't know how to go about cleaning it. Its not something that can just go into the washer. any advice?

is thrombocytopenia only in newborns?

My father has been diagnosed with this disorder, he has had Lung cancer, and 2 heart attacks, Is this possibliy due to the medications he was perscribed? I have only seen information on newborns, not adults over the age of 50. I would appreciate all the infor anyone can give, I don't want to loose my father due to ignorance. I'd greatly appreciate help finding the answers to help me understand what's going on with his health.

A small question I have always had about the creation story?

My intentions are not to try to disprove the Bible. This is just a question I have always had a hard time understanding, even when I was a Christian. What are your thoughts on it?

In the first day, God created the light and the darkness. But on the fourth day, God created the lights in the sky, such as the sun, and the stars. Now, from a scientific view, the sun is what gives us light, we all know that. So how was light created before the sun was? And even before the sun was created, it states that there was already morning and evening. Yet the rotation of the earth is what causes that, it is when the earth turns away from the sun, that evening is produced. so how could this have happened before the sun was created?
