My son did at that age. Usually you can have whole milk at 12 months, but ask your doctor to make sure that there is not a specific reason your son could not have milk products.

Yes as long as she tolerates the whole milk that she should be drinking. I wouldn't give her too much and I wouldn't do it all the time since she is a baby you have to watch her sugar intake.

You sure can if she is not lactose intolerant. If she is on whole milk now which she should be at 12 months then you already know she is not lactose intolerant. Tiny amounts and have fun with your camera!

Ice cream is a highly sweetened food... and I would not recommend giving it to your baby.
If you have not given her any dairy up to now, why start? Dairy can be highly mucus-forming and lead to chestiness in toddlers.
If you want to give her a natural sweet treat then mashed banana is good. If you want to mimic the taste of ice cream then freeze a peeled ripe banana and then take it from the freezer and mash it... much better for your baby's health.

as long as she's not lactose intolerant. she should be getting off the formula and drinking whole milk by now anyway.
she may not like the cold of the ice cream though.

at 12 months old she should be starting to be weaned onto cows milk and off the formula.
I would not recommend giving her ice - cream yet - wait until you are sure she has no allergy to it, she is still quite young for that

yes. calcium is very good for the baby. i give my baby yogurt, icecream, cheese, whole milk, orange juice with calcium. whole milk is good for brain development because of the fat that's in the milk. about 2oz. a day. check with the baby's doctor to see what's best for your baby
