So there is this guy in one of my classes and he always use to make mean jokes about me. About a month ago, he said something mean and I got really mad at him and told him that he was a jerk. Then he kept saying he was sorry and has been pretty nice ever since. One of the guy’s friends is also in my class and I sort of hinted to him on MySpace that I liked the guy (aka his friend that is now nice to me). –That was probably a mistake. I hinted over the weekend and suddenly- starting yesterday- he has been really mean to me, when he originally was just a nice guy (he didn’t flirt w/ me or anything like that. He was just nice, you know? He also already has a girlfriend so I don’t think he likes me).

^Plus, to make it worse, the guy that was mean and now nice to me, is now barely talking to me- when before he tried to come up w/ any reason possible to talk to me. Do u think that the guy’s friend persuaded him not to talk to me anymore?
^Should I apologize to the guy's friend?

I have been with 8 guys in my life time but that was by the time I was 16. When I turned 17 my now husband asked me how many partners I had and I was not sure how he would react to 8, so I said 2. To this day he still thinks it is 2.
Do you think he really needed to know the truth? I don't want him to compare himself to them. (Who knows he might not like my replies sometimes)

Why do people automatically assume that having glasses means your nerdy? Thinking logically, that would mean that an eye that is too long, or too short, makes you smart. Can anyone explain were this common misconception stems from.

There's this boy named Kurt. In my freshman year, we kind of had an attraction, and we kind of edged toward fooling around, but we never did. I did'nt really see him in my sophomore year and now I'm a junior. And he's in all of my classes. I was attracted to him the first time I saw him, maybe even like an infatuation. Over sophomore year, I guess he got a girlfriend and they still go out. And for the past year and a half, I've been doing my best to keep away from him, but he's been flirting with me shamelessly. Today he was walking with me around the track outside and trying to get me to warm up to him I guess and he licked my face. I lost myself a bit and chased after him and we were pretty much fooling around the whole class. He's always staring at me, always laughing with me, it just feels like we're good together. But he has a girlfriend...

Something really seems not right here. I just bought those speakers right? but the bass is too strong! even if i adjust the subwoofer knob all the way down, it's still too much. I have to go to media player's equalizer settings and pull all the left sliders down just to get the bass to a tolerable level! But that only works for media player, how about when i'm playing games? or listening via internet?
This can't be right now can it?

Does anyone know if this is a normal thing? if not, then how can i solve the problem?

BTW i know the bass adjustment knob isn't loose or anything because when i try to turn it all the way to it's loudest, boy oh boy do the windows rattle in here.

I'm doing a project on him, and I've been watching some videos of him on youtube; it seems that every other comment is from a Quebecer claiming he "raped Quebec", "was the equivalent of Hitler to the Jews (to Quebec)", "was the worst prime minister", "masturbates to the Union Jack" and the like. However, to me, it seems he did a kit of things to promote bilingualism and Quebec; the Charter of Rights, mandating French be taught in English speaking schools, promoting unity, etc... For most of his term as prime minister, his party had the majority of seats in Quebec. Secondly (during his terms), public opinion polls in Quebec leant heavily his favor. Public opinion in Quebec even supported his evoking the War Measures Act to root out and destroy the FLQ; he also helped defeat seperatism in the 1980 referendum. If they loved him them so much then (even during his resignation), why do so many Quebecers hate him now?
