Something really seems not right here. I just bought those speakers right? but the bass is too strong! even if i adjust the subwoofer knob all the way down, it's still too much. I have to go to media player's equalizer settings and pull all the left sliders down just to get the bass to a tolerable level! But that only works for media player, how about when i'm playing games? or listening via internet?
This can't be right now can it?

Does anyone know if this is a normal thing? if not, then how can i solve the problem?

BTW i know the bass adjustment knob isn't loose or anything because when i try to turn it all the way to it's loudest, boy oh boy do the windows rattle in here.

I'd say go to the company's website and look for a sound driver to control the output, otherwise you can go to control panel, sound and change the properties of your speaker. go down to the sub woofer and decrease the volume of that item. I'm running windows vista, but it should be fundamentally the same
