Would you rather be in a zoo where people where stopping and checking you out all day where you were provided with 3 squares a day?
Or
Would you rather be in the wild where you might be eaten by a predator, your survival was up to you, and you weren't guaranteed anything which you couldn't take care of yourself?

Freedom or prison? hmmmm Actually, there are good points for each and you named them all. I'd probably choose prison because I would rather live knowing that if I got sick I would be taken to a vet and knowing that I'd have plenty to eat.

I would rather be in the wild where I can roam free and do what I want. Why in the world would I be locked up 24 hours, 7 days a week in a place where people stare at you.

If I were a monkey, I think I'd be fine with captivity as long as the caretakers made my habitat as close to my natural one as possible. No cages with rope bridges or hammocks. Of course, that's my viewpoint as a human turned into a monkey. I don't know how monkeys would process that.

in the zoo they feed you so i dont know about the wild were you have to be cautious about prey all the time!

i think i would go with captivity. i would live longer, i would be comfortable, i would hav all my meals and needs already taken care of, and i would be in a predatorless environment
