Was this just another lie to win votes? What good have they accomplished? All they want to do is blame and bash. Why did they say they were going to accomplish so much?
Obviously they just can't deliver on anything.

Opec, a small majority in Congress, etc.,. The point is: why did they promise something they knew they could not achieve?
To Juanita: Yes the tax cuts helped me a lot. But I'm sure I'll lose it when the Dems pass the highest tax rate in history.
It cost me plenty and altered my life when Bill Clinton raised taxes.

OMG. Democrats have an ever so slight majority in Congress, and our President is Republican. Democrats don't have control of much. Not to mention that they've been in power for 2 seconds, while the Republicans had years. Once again, someone blindly blaming their opposing party without actually trying to educate themselves.
Democrats have submitted proposals to lower gas prices, but they'll never be able to get them to pass. Maybe it's because oil and gas industries donated $2,596,725 to the Bush Presidential Campaign in 2004. Hmmm.

This is just another case of either party telling people what they want to hear to get elected and then not carrying through on promises. In this case they really have little control over it. However, all political parties in USA are dishonest. We are forced to choose between the lesser of two evils.
