My husband and I are on limited income right now and he is wants to take her to dinner. We take his parents to dinner for every major holiday. I want to buy her a small gift, not spend a boatload on a dinner for her and my father-in-law. We really don't have the money right now. Am I being unreasonable?

OK, I would absolutely love to write for a fashion or a women's magazine one day. Journalism has always interested me. However, some people say "haha don't be stupid, that won't happen!"
I think they are right to be honest. This industry is based in London and I live nowhere near. Even when I leave uni, how on earth am I going to move there? Doesn't it cost a bomb? I mean, I already write for my college newsletter and getting my portfolio together but...I'm stuck. When I say I want to live in London, people always say "OMG why?". Is my dream too big? I'm scared I'll fail. It's all I have ever wanted to do. Please help. Be honest. :)

I'm using a Read-Writeable CD-ROM and a CD-R that's completely blank and my PC is telling me the disc is either full or not writable. I've used several blank CDs, both CD-Rs and CD-RWs, and all of them get the same message. Last time I used this CD-ROM it worked just fine. The only significant activity I've had is using a registry cleaner recently.
