Capitalization Help!!!?

Please fix any problems with my capitalization

*My dad and I are going to visit my grandparents.


*My brother and i saw cousin Victor downtown.

*Among the names for god are Jehovah and the almighty.

** Also can anyone tell when it is appropriate to capitalize the words mom, dad, sister, brother, ect.

"Among the names for God are Jehovah and The Almighty."

Technically, of course, "The Almighty" is not a name but a title. While "the" is entirely unnecessary in this sentence, it is used here as part of the title.

Since "god" is here used to describe a particular god, it is properly capitalized. Here is an alternate phrasing which allowably uses a lower-case "god" (although the capital is not incorrect):
There is one god who is called "Jehovah" or "Almighty".

Mom, dad, sister, brother, and cousin would never be captilized unless they were starting a sentence. Proper names are capitilized such as your given name, a city, a street, a brand name, a store name, a car name, etc.

You need to capitalize "I" "God" and "Almighty." God and Almighty are names in this case and thus are proper nouns (i.e. they should be capitalized!)

The only time you would capitalize mom dad sister brother would be at the beginning of a sentence or if they are used in a title.
