All the organs of the body were having a meeting, trying to decide who was in charge.

The brain said: "I should be in charge, because I run all the body's systems, so without me nothing would happen."

"I should be in charge," said the heart, "because I pump the blood and circulate oxygen all over the body, so without me you'd all waste away."

"I should be in charge," said the stomach, "because I process food and give all of you energy."

"I should be in charge," said the rectum, "because I'm responsible for waste removal."

All the other body parts laughed at the rectum and insulted him, so in a huff, he shut down tight. Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache, the stomach was bloated, and the blood was toxic. Eventually the other organs gave in. They all agreed that the rectum should be the boss.

The moral of the story?

You don't have to be smart or important to be in charge... just an *sshole.

A man who lives in the South Pacific is planning a rowboat trip. His rowboat will hold him plus enough food to last three weeks. By a strange coincidence, several small islands about one week's rowing apart are near the island he lives on. He plans on rowing to the fifth island, which is a large island with grocery stores similar to those on the main island he lives on now. But the four small islands between his island and the other big island have no stores, and he will not be able to buy any food on those islands. So he realizes that he will have to row out to an island, store some food, and return to the main island for more supplies. Show how he could organize his food supplies so he can get to the fifth island. How many weeks will his trip take altogether?

hello, i'm in law school and i am working on a tough question for my assignment. It's about murders and killings..i was a little confused so I just needed opinions..here's the question i'm stuck on:

*A guy enters a party very drunk with a gun in his hand and fires 2 shots in the air. One of the security guards name steve attacks him, trying to get the weapon out of his hand. The drunk guy hits steve with the gun..The other security guard name Paul comes and sees what's going on. In defense of Steve, Paul tries to shoot the drunk guy...but misses... and hits steve instead---killing him instintly..Paul got so enraged he shot the drunk guy 5 times---also killing him instintly . a 14 year old girl standing close by was shot in the arm by a stray bullet

-Is the drunk guy's death first degree murder, second degree murder, manslaughter or self defense?

does paul get charged with killing steve and injuring the young girl?

which is twice the force required to keep the plate in place. Experiment easily shows this to be wrong. Where's the mistake?

my son is 3 and he is so busy and always getting into things. Thats ok i know that is normal but he seems to be acting out lately and pooping on the floor in the bathroom. he never used to do that he has been potty trained for like 6 months now. he also has been hitting and completely not listening to me, he is breaking things . its just latetly i dont know how to handle it. i hate to spank so i try to use that as a last resort. it seems that time outs are just not working. any ideas as to why he is pooping on the floor? and what else can i do to disipline? we just had a little girl 5 months ago that probly has something to do with it. any answers are apreciated

i have a baby hamster and i think something is wrong with its pelvic/hip bones, they are expanding to the outside. it has fur and she shares a cage with her sister. from the back it looks like a frog walking, but it doesn't hop. pleeeeeease help. also, he seems to be doing just fine, but just walks a little diffirent than the other hammy.
