I've seen the word "Maru" in the names of Japanese sea vessels, and in the names of Sanrio characters (i.e., "Bad Batz Maru"). Can anyone tell me what it means?

Am I going mad, or is this a valid suggestion ? Why can't a similar system, like Tracker, be used on Children.
My understanding is that the technology exsists to enable a small, safe bit of hardware to be placed just under the skin, or even into the blood stream which sends out a constant signal and has a very long life.
The signal is picked up by satalite giving an exact location of the child at any time !! This could be monitored by the police and or Social Services.
No this would not stop them being abducted, but it would help in knowing ewhere they were thereby greatly aiding a search in the event a child is taken.
It can be removed when the child is of an age or for any other reason.
This makes sense to me, our children being somewhat more precious than our cars !
What do you think ?
lastly any doubts or fears re possable medical implications, well lets try them out first on convicted sex offenders, at least that way they could be of some use.

Hey!
Last night while she was out her mobile was making odd noises and turned out it was a miss call from a person who I knew (a woman she works with) but by accident I deleted the miss call, so then I delted the miss call log so she wouldnt know I had been on her phone, but as I did that it popped up saying you have a voicemail and I knew it was this same woman but she doesnt have voicemail set up so I deleted the message in the inbox saying you have a voice mail and the next text scared me! It was from this turkish guy (he left his name&you can tell by the mobile) (I must explain we have an apartement in turkey) & I felt so sick reading it, it was "hope your well I miss you, I care about you, I love you xxxx" & I felt awful so I skipped on and found a load more text (about 8-10 more dating back to mid-october last year) & some of them were asking her for money (£1500)& one gave some bank details where to send money & another was about "how he had not recieved any post from (my mum)"

We have been in the house for 3 yrs already but the house was actually bought by my father(I didn't have credit built up at the time) so we are making all the mortgage/tax payments to him. We are wondering if we should get a mortgage for whatever we have left to pay on the house so we can build up equity in the next year before selling? What do you think you would do? The loan we would take out would be around 20,000 more than the house is worth so we can make some improvements to the house and pay off some of my husbands OLD debt so we would make one payment to our local bank. What are your thoughts and do you have any advice?
