I don't get it. Christians claim to be happy, and they say that we atheists should "join god" or some crap like that in order to be happier.

But think about it. If you commit a "sin" according to your bible, then you have to pray, ask for forgiveness, BEG for forgiveness? And for what? To get to a place called heaven that you don't even know exists.

Whereas look at atheists. We can ENJOY LIFE. None of this begging for forgiveness nonsense. I think we are the ones that are really happy. Maybe someday Christians can realise that they are just wasting their lives.
What are your thoughts on this?

My dad was diagnosed with Wegeners granulomatosis vasculitis about 4 1/2 years ago at that time he was given 6mth to a year to live thankfully God has blessed us and he is still with us but he is still battleing this disease to this day he has never went into remission it took his kidneys shortly after his diagnosis and he has been on dialysis since it has moved into his lungs but so far they have been able to keep that part of it somewhat in control and we think it may have moved into his sinuses recently he has such a hard time with this disease and has pretty much been given a death sentence by the doctor twice once in the begining and again about a year later but he has kept fighting and is still here he is still on chemo but the last time when it was time to start chemo again the doctor was wanting to back off from it which is very scary i would like to hear others experience with this good or bad you dont have to spare me i already know its an ugly thing to deal with -thank you!!

P = Starting Principle
r = Interest rate
t = Time Period

d) Estimate how long it will take to double the total amount in Nick’s account.

Using the equation: A = P(1+r)^t

If this account compounds once per year @ 1%, then
when: t = 69.66 yrs. will yield A = $19,999.86
when: t = 69.67 yrs. will yield A = $20,001.85
Approx. 69.665 yrs.

I lived in an apartment for 10 months on a one year lease. My car was broken into and the person that did it started threating my family since we called the police on him. I told the aparment management of this problem and there was also a police report made on the matter.

The apartments didn't want to let us cancel our lease and move, so we moved anyways because we didn't want to deal with the threats. Now they have placed a judgment on my credit for the two months plus concessions. Should this be legal for them to do this to me since we were being threatened while we lived there? Is there something I can do to make them remove this? Or should I hire an attorney to see if there is something that can be done about it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Take into account that my b/f is a smart, calulated person.
He comes home, after two, in the morning, goes straight to the bathroom and washes his penise. When I asked, what he was doing, he lied.I argued intil he had to admited to t/ cleaning. But said that "he was tired and didn't know what he was saying".Then tried to say that he washed up for me!!
( we have a very good sex life @ 2 + per week)
A few hours later I find out that he has a profile on plenty of fish ( a singles site), and has been talking to 33 women about sex.
wanting me to belive him that he was still "FATHFUl" he suggested that because he didn't go out and meet anyone ,in the year that it was posted, I should forgive him. We have been together for 9 years. engaged for 2. The house, Dog, no Kids. In my heart I don't want to be w/ him. I feel sorry for him. it has been a month and he is still crying.
What should I do. I want to MOVE ON.
He won't let go. Every day I am breaking up w/ him all over again

I can't help it. Whenever a woman goes on and on about how it's a woman's role to stay at home and tend to her family or agrees that women are less intelligent or less rational than men, I get mad. When a man says it, it can be more easily dismissed, but to feel that way about yourself and your gender is worse. Is it wrong to consider these women traitors to their gender?

I am just shy of six weeks pregnant. I am sitting here at work and all of a sudden I got this cramp in my upper thigh. I also seem to have slight cramping in my lower abdomen on my right side. I know the cramping is from stretching but is it okay that it's mainly on one side. I had an ultrasound a week ago and everything looks fine. Also my boobs were hurting and then the pain went a way is that okay?
