Hey, yo, what yo want to melt the copper fo? If it is to recycle, keep in mind the scrap dealer won't know what kind of junk is in it and will probably give you a low price.

With care as it is difficult to melt and is susceptible to gassing. It should be melted by heating to at least 1260 degrees celcius under crushed graphite.

with copper you will need to find its melting point (online) and heat it past that
