I originally had highspeed DSL through AT&T and they sent me a 2wire wireless router which we set up and had no problems with the wireless internet through out the house. The we moved to a new house that could not get AT&T service, so we signed up with comcast for cable internet. I can't get the wireless to work and the people at AT&T and comcast say I need to re-configure the router...but they wont offer any help on how to do it. Is there anyone out there that can give me directions? Its much appreciated.

You can't convice an atheist that God exists no more than you can convince a Christian that he doesn't...why try? A person is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs...why try to impose it on another? Is it because you are unsure of your belief yourself as an atheist or as a christian? Think about it...

My family and I moved into a new area last summer and promptly had difficulty with a child who stomped his foot on my 5 year olds arm. His mothers reaction was to coddle him and ask 'why did you do that hon?', I was furious and said it didnt matter why but that it was unacceptable regardless. This started a year long ordeal with my kids being called names, yelled at, cursed at and generally made to feel scared and uncomfortable in their own home. I really want to stop all of this once and for all. Do you think it would be helpful if I were to mail a letter to the mother asking her for her help in solving the situation with our kids (not that they need to be friends but just so they leave each other alone and dont talk about each other negatively)? If so, what should I ask her? ie how do I word it so it does not sound like I am putting her down? If not, what should I do instead? I cant live like this anymore.

She stopped calling me or texting me on Sunday after I missed her calls since I was busy with school. She texted me two days later saying "Im sorry. just couldn't do it anymore". I said "Sorry to hear that. Hope you find someone who makes you happy" (At this point of trying to make her happy for four months I am tired). She wrote back "Me too". Then I wrote "There's a better way to do these things since we have been together for six months. I don't have a chance and never will until you do something to get better (she is always depressed). I said she doesn't have to believe me and have a good night. That was last night, haven't heard from her. Think she is completely done? What should I do? Make no contact? See if she misses me? Or does her text mean its over?

ok my boyfriend is stubborn as anything and doesn't listen to me when I say there is a big difference between "loving" someone, and being "in love" with someone. he says love is love, the only difference between loving a boyfriend/girlfriend vs. loving a friend is that you can "sleep" with your bf/gf and not a friend. does anyone else thing "love" is love and there is no difference between loving someone and being in love with someone? The majority of Christians who I encounter (a combination of rural Southern Baptists and inner-city Baptists) in person are totally unable to back up any of their religious beliefs. They can’t even say that the Bible backs them up because they do not know what is in the Bible. If you call Christianity into question, they simply look at you like you are crazy and say they will pray for you. I realize that this is not really a question, but I just wanted to commend the Christians who come into R & S who are at least open-minded enough to acknowledge questions that non-Christians have. I think there is a link between religious open/closed mindedness and intelligence. It is obvious that the R & S group is much more intelligent than the average Christians.
