1. Allied production outpaced Germany's production (of war supplies/materials, etc.

2. Better leadership (particulary from the British and American side).

3. Nazi's invaded Soviet Union, creating a two front war.

4. Hitler did not allow for his senior officers to make independent battlefield and strategic decisions....

The German Army was well armed, trained and equipped. The were also well led (in the first part of the war). The Waffen SS and a large part of the Nazi party contributed to the horror that is the Jewish Holocaust. The German army carried out the Final Solution...but most of the decisions (to eliminate innocent men/women/children of Jewish decent, political enemies, Communists, gypsies, etc) came from the political elite at the top of the Nazi food chain---and not from the lower ranks of the German army. The Political elite wanted purification (and political domination, among other things) in the German population....it was another one of those sick minded thoughts Hitler "aka the Mental Case" had when he wrote his memoirs.

Germany lost because Hitler made the worst decision ever - to start a second front war against Russia. Hitler had a non-aggression pact with Stalin and would've been smart to keep it that way. He pissed off the Russians and it came back to bite him in the *ss. According to Stephen Ambrose, 8 out of every 10 German soldiers were killed by the Russians. Hitler miscalculated Russia's war manufacturing capability and underestimated their tank production. He thought they were on the verge of falling apart militarily. He later said, "If I had known about [their tank capability], he never would've started this *@^#@$ war!" (paraphrase)

Many reasons, but the first that comes to mind is that they fought on too many fronts. Plus they slaughtered half the people that lived in their own country. Hey, if you are gonna take over the world, don't start by reducing your population with a horrible holocaust.

Biggest reason they lost though..... was that they deserved to lose. Hitler got what he deserved.

But strategically, which is what you are probably looking for as a Marine.... they fought stupidly by taking on too many fronts and possibly assuming that the other superpowers would not band together and fight like heck.

Germany made the strategic mistake of switching from military targets to civilian targets during the Battle of Britain. This short-sighted, aggressive behaviour allowed the RAF to rebuild their airfields and aircraft.

I don't think you can find any one action or inaction by the Germans to define their defeat. A philosopher may say that their aggression was their defeat.

unfavorable administration of the military in course of the suitable (and starting up) of the conflict, distinctly the jap the front on the orders of Adolf Hitler. Germany finally ran out of fellows and components to proceed struggling with effectively hostile to the Allied forces. Nazi Germany had their moments of "we practically received" yet finally they did not stand a lot of a probability hostile to the international.

Because the bad guys were white. There wasn't any fear of offending bad people back then. Considering that we are now fighting insane cavemen, we must be compassionate and allow them to shoot first. We also cannot use air power against these punks. If Americans had the will to survive and stay on top as the world's most powerful nation, Iraq would have been a parking lot (with exception to the Kurdish region) and the world would be a better place. In Iraq, only the Kurds are worth saving.

Because they invaded Russia. It absorbed the best men and machines. The Nazi war machine was broken at Kurst Salient.
I believe Hitler started the war in the first place to do nothing more that exterminate the Jews. That goal was pursued to the very end.

The German Army was second to only the US in their training, armament, and will to win. Their probem was that their leader was in the tertiary phase of Syphilis and was speading them thin on every front. His decision to take on Moscow and then abandoning his troops in Russia was the mark of a madman.

One reason is that they had to many fronts. They headed West towards England, and south for the oil fields to feed their war machines. They went west towards Russia because they were afraid of the sleeping bear. They made allies of the Japanese to control the Pacific. Hitler felt he was going for world domination because of "manifest destiny".(Divine right) He was partially successful until Russia and the USA got involved. We made more planes, tanks , ships and bombs and his oil supply got cut off. At one time the world was ready to leave him alone if ge stayed within partially conquered Europe, but, madmen are rarely satisfied. The rest is history.
