Out my ashes was born the free unshackled me.
The tether tying me to material severed, I run free, no amount of money can persuade me to fasten the shackles anew.

I lost more than just material things. I lost a part of my history that I will never be able to touch. Everything is just a memory now. But isn't that what History is anyways, a recorded memory?

All of the normal things like furniture, appliances, clothing, etc. These things can all be replaced.
The irreplacable things are my family photographs that can never be replaced. My geneology book with over 12 years of research, documentation and photographs. My Taz doll that my husband won for me on our first date. My childrens' cards, letters and art projects they gave to me over the years. My collection of Native American art purchased and gifted to me over my many years of geneology research.
Just thinking about those things makes me sad.
