Ok this is one for all you computer geniuses out there (sadly i'm not one of them!)....

Ok my problem is this. Something is amis with my pc...it started running really slowly for no reason. I have totally formatted it and re-installed a genuine copy of Windows XP home. The syptoms are it takes ages to open anything and when I'm playing my favourite game (splinter cell-double agent for anyone who's interested), the more I save and reload the game while playing the slower and slower the computer gets to the point where you can't use it and have to reboot. I thought that maybe the computer was writing to my ram and not my hard drive so it was gradually getting fuller and fuller the more I save but that's just my very uneducated guess.

It's a fairly recent pc (compaq pc world bought desktop) and it runs a 1.9 ghz motherboard with a gig of ddr ram and an nvidia 256 g force graphics card. I don't have anything on it to slow it down and it's not connected to the internet. HELP!!!

Out of every religious post here on answers not one atheists talked about their ethical philosophy, principles of atheism, or anything relevant to atheism except for one thing.

Denial of Christianity. Every topic either slanders the church, spreads hatred towards religion, is condescending or otherwise down right mean towards Christians

But let me ask you. What would you talk about if their really was no God? if every single person on earth held your point of view, and I mean everyone, and there was absolutely no religion or any spiritual beliefs held by anyone at any time, and there was not even a word for such things. What would you now have to say?

My daughter NEVER stops cooing, babbling, and blowing raspberries. Is this any indication of a talkative person later in life?

Why would God take you into his heaven if your such a dull dim-witted stiff? You don't even know how to smile and live life. You just boss others around and yell at them....hardly Christ-like.

"If I go I would suffer too much, I can't face it."

I used to think this way also but Ive analized that this is a very *selfish* decision. Suppose you father dies. Your mother and brothers would like you to be there. When something like this happen you've got to take it like a man or a "woman" and face it.

Your thoughts?

after reading this:

"The actus reus of theft is usually defined as an unauthorised taking, keeping or using of another's property which must be accompanied by a mens rea of dishonesty and/or the intent to permanently deprive the owner or the person with rightful possession of that property or its use."

He didnt intend to Peranently Deprive any one of it, he was going to put it back...

I am moving this week and can begin moving my stuff into the apartment today and I need to be out of my current apartment in a week. The apartment is only a few minutes away so I can care for them at either location. Would it make more sense to move them first, put them in a room together with their food, water, litter box, and familiar sleeping surfaces or to move everything out of the current apartment and then move them last?
