I came off of active duty in Dec of 2006,i am now on reserve status with the marine corps. I had a 2006 toyota Tacoma when i joined and got behind,i paid it up when i came home in june from boot camp but got behind again when i left in july for trainning and came home in dec. My truck has been taken this morning but i was told by my unit i should have 6 months to catch it up. Can my truck be taken or should i be given the 6 months to pay for it. I have been giving double payments for 3 months now.

My parents are RC and C of E and when I was little we went to church regularly, prayed together and I learned about the faith within our home. When I got older I started to question what I had been taught. When I hit my teens I rejected Christianity and god.
Now I am in my 20's, and I don't know how I feel about god. I don't whether I can explore my spirituality without feeling like I'm being recruited by a church or a faith that doesn't belong to me.
In life is it nessescary to have a relationship with god, any god?
How do you know what to believe? What happens if you believe in god, but believe science over the bible?

I don't want sarcastic nonsense. I'm actually interested in genuine particpants real thoughts.

have been here for 18 years and have way too much invested in it with a terrific Thrift Savings Plan (= to a 401K in civilian speak) and a salary that is close to 6 figures. I only have 11K in my personal bank account outside of my retirement savings.

I can't imagine 12 more years of depression here though. Should I just try to find a lesser paying job that makes me happy and give up this ideal security and long term comfort or should I buck up and figure that this is life and realize it would be irresponsible to give up what I have. I have no college degree and KNOW that I will never find this kind of salary elsewhere. Sigh.....I need inspiration. Any good advice/opinions/ideas out there? Any one with a similar story that might make me cheer up? Thanks!

I have yet to see the difference from 30 years ago, yet the people in th legal profession swear things have changed. I see it all the time where the man is beat up in every settlement even when the Wife has all the means to make a great living on her own.

We were married 10 yrs ago against my parents' wishes as we were from different castes. Mine is a traditional brahmin family from rural bkground. My wife never undrstands our tradtional background, hence neither she have cordial relationship with my parents nor with my sis $ brothers. But I was always confident that I will keep my family united and one day the understanding-trust will be there amongst us. But last year very ugly incedent took place and things took very bad shape. My mother was seriously ill and gone thru 3 major ops (piles, cancer, bypass heart). My mother lives in delhi with my younger brother who is still unmarried. Last year, my 2nd younger brother came to our place (in diff city) and stayed there for 15 days. He once made sexual advances. She scolded him and asked him to behave. After some days when I was away to delhi, he again tried and my wife struggled for 2 hrs to save herself. My sisters and other brothers (2 younger) are with him.

i saw someone wrote a similar question to mine before but they didnt really get a good answer. so i'll ask it again. Well i'll tell you my story. I am currently minding a horse for a friend. So I decided to go for a ride one afternoon last week. I decided to go bareback cause i knew I would not be out for long. As I was on my trail, I bumped into a walker, she had to squeeze by me cause the track is narrow. As she went by me she said to me. Do you know what you are doing is cruel to that horse. So I replied how?, She then said for starters that horse riding is cruel full stop. Then she said that because I am riding bareback, i am hurting the horse more. She said that the seams from my Levis are constantly rubbing off the poor horse as she said. I told her that it was nonsense and that I do it all the time. When she left, I was thinking she could be right. When I looked down at my legs and thighs I could see they do rub thehorse but I thought the horse skin was thick. Is this woman right
